I've lost track of your arrival time. If we're available, I'm sure something could be worked out.

Getting in Monday at around 1pm on Monday. Name a time Mon/Tues and I'll make it...my trip was part social anyways since you guys are all there...
  • I'm playing the Fiesta al lago so don't make it too late.

Was more asking when you have the Cabana for...and if you guys want to do a separate food thing

The Sunday morning. Your flight arrives Sunday evening right? We can always hit Ellis Island for the BBQ.

Yup. Ok, we'll figure something else out.
  • I believe we have the cabana until 5 pm. and if we are not in the cabana then we are in the spa.

I forgot the pools close so early.

Palms poker room after? Maybe Aria tournament? Craps at Gold Coast?
  • I'm going to buy a card when I'm in Buffalo in a couple of weeks. Will PM the number when I have it and will text when I land

I'm glad you took down David Copperfield. We have no interest in him whatsoever.

I'd like to see Penn & Teller, but not on the same day that we fly in.
  • I did until I read the reviews. I'm big on magicians.

Anyways Penn and teller - looks like mon night then?

    Saturday Sept 31st

Bellagio F al Lago Cl Event 1B $330*
    Venetian Noon $340
    Aria 1pm $125
    CP 2pm $225

*I'm really leaning away from this one as it's 2 days and a rebuy

    Any thoughts boys?

Thinking of coming down for a weekender, and this tourney looks like fun. Day 1a is on the Friday before obv.

What would the strategy be for this type of tourney?

Is it unlimited re-entry? Once a day? Once altogether?

Btw...anyone wanna see Absinth with me Tuesday night?

I assumed unlimited re-entries for each day....as I think that is how most, if not all re-entries are being handled.

Here's a link to the schedule:

  • I won't be playing FdL as I'm playing the $225 on Thursday. Friday is our helicopter ride, and Saturday I'm in the Venetian $340.

Not an iPad but I was on BB alot in Aria/Venetian with no issues. Some players were still messaging as their hands are dealt and they're dealt in regardless.
  • ok, plans are semi confirmed now. This is my week so far. You guys still checking out the pinball museum?

Tues - arrive noon (Palazzo) - grinding the poker player rate at Venetian
Weds - (Palazzo) - Venetian noon $150 tourny
    Thurs - (TI) seeing 'O' at 10pm
Fri - (TI) Elton John 7:30 - probably buy tickets at door
Sat - (TI) Venetian $560 noon
Sun - (TI) Check out Bellagio/Aria cash games
    Mon - (TI) Leave noon

btw, Wynn is offering $3/hr comps from 5-8pm all of Sept.
  • I have no plans..lol. Depends on what Johnnie/Moose and them are doing. Probably put in cash game sessions at Aria/Venetian (I guess maybe Wynn now with the $3/hr comps) and might get a noon and 7pm tourney in.
  • Cabana is booked for Mon. Oct. 3. Palms Place.
Dinner reservations for Little Buddha restaurant at the Palms 7pm Fri if anyone wants to come along.
Also planning to eat here on Tues Sept 27, unless someone wants to come along in which case we can switch to a different night. Gaylord India | Dining | Rio Las Vegas
