Sterling buffet - ok let's do it. But you know it's Sunday only so less football time.
Then get out of bed a little earlier! mmm....caviar.
EDIT: Just checked the NFL schedule. Dolphins play the late game, starting at 1pm in Vegas. Lots of time for brunch!
Hotel confirmed for now, Tues-Weds Rio, Thurs-Mon TI. Hotels.com had a decent price for TI for $85 a night so I grabbed it for now. Considering its at $140/night on Expedia.
I am not looking at anything until I see how much I have in my bank account once I come back from Costa Rica. I won't do a wes 2 dayer, but 3 days might happen.

More info and discussion on this. Not sure if one person can update anothers casinos visited. May have to check in at Rewards desk in person. Seems to be a difference of opinions on what is required. It also appears that it has to be completed by Sept 30th, pays by Oct 31st.
depends on your budget? There are lots of sites with hotel promo codes depending on where you want to stay. More are added all the time. Monday to Thursday rates are probably a 1/3 of the weekend rates. IMO, better to stay near the casino(s) you plan to play at versus saving a little on the hotel room. Especially if you are only there for a few days. The hotel I like the best on the strip is Planet Hollywood, if you can get a decent rate. If you have coin to burn, I would stay at Venetian. Hope this helps. Are you coming down the same week?
any advice on room rates for a first trip? Haven't played there so don't think I would qualify for any of the comps.
not sure if my lady will be able to take the time off but i might need some stress relief at that time.
Thanks all,
Be sure to get a players card(s) before you start gambling. That way you'll at least earn get comps that you can use when you cash out. If you stay at a Harrah's property the rate is $1/hour.
My first trip I used caesars.com and used the hot deals link. That will be the best you can do without a players card. Nov is the low season and will have the cheapest rate. The best thing about how the caesars.com web site is set up is that you can browse a calendar, showing two months of rates at a time, across all their casinos. Pick a cheap time and go!

Already planning AC trip early Sept. I've got comps there. Can hit the Chester PA casino on the way for a double dip.
Only reasonable travelling distance from Vegas is Laughlin. Reno and Lake Tahoe are 8 hours driving. Will pick up Laughlin on the Vegas trip. That should give me 5 casinos. Between the wife and I, that is $900 in comps.
definitely thinking about it. Will have to see how work pans out in the next two weeks but I would love to hit some serious gambooling time with people infinitely better than me and meet more of the PFC crowd. I've only met a few at the Strombo show from a while back that had Negraneau on it.
