Can't recall whether we bought them at Target or Walmart, but lots of places have them at $20. or less with enough minutes for a whole week. If you need more you just buy top up cards. Great deal, we all bought them there last Sept.

We got them at Target, but like Jeff said they are available almost anywhere. It was $10 for the card, $10 for phone. When you called another Verizon phone, it deducted .99c from your card, but you could call any Verizon phone for free all day. Super handy! We didn't text each other, so I don't remember the cost there. I don't think we used the phones to make any local/LD calls either, again I don't recall the price for that either. I'm sure Moose will remember.
