He lights a cigarette, offers me one, I decline. He holds up a strip of cloth
"No thanks, it's just a sniffle" I say. He actually smiles at that one.

I go through the door, and it closes heavily behind me, I turn, and notice there is no handle on my side. There's also a pair of pants in the corner. There is a metal chair in the centre of the room. I sit down . . .
"Good evening Milo. Shall we begin?" says a detached voice.
I should have taken the cigarette.

Yonge Street, 1992, after the Jays won the Series. Five of us watched the game in the Zanzibar Tavern. Jays win, we head for the street, I go back for our pitchers of draft. We're on the street, and the noise is so loud it is physically painful. Some random girl basically sexually assaulted me in front of the CityTV cameras. It was . . . "different". Sorry, but nothing else really comes to mind . . .

Vimy Ridge, France. As trite as it sounds, the victory at Vimy Ridge announced my country's presence on the world stage. I would like to pay my respects to those that died there. Close second would be Holland, in order to do the same at Groesbeek, and Holten military cemeteries.

Monitor this site with an almost Kristy like obsession. I play darts, golf, I even read the occasional non-poker related book. I like watching my daughter play soccer. It kills me how many parents just drop the kids off and pick them up. I am also a Freemason, though I am currently not a member of any Lodge.
