Given the state of housing in Las Vegas, you should be able to rent a gorgeous place extremely cheap. Tack on a rental car for like 20 bucks a day and yer set.

I think the plan is to leave Monday morning - time's easy, but I'd suggest between 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - let's meet up AT casino Windsor, and sign up for the tourney, then go do dinner or something before playing.
Further... for those coming & going as I am... I've secured a car... just enough for four of us w/ gear... so, I think that means me, Johnnieh, stpboy, and Mario. I'm borrowing my sister's car, it's just a sunfire, so pack lightly boys!
I propose we either meet online / conference call or something tomorrow night sometime. How's that sound?

at 7pm, then grab some shut eye, then take the hotel shuttle over to the airport at say 4am, leaving our 2 cars at the hotel. I imagine we would have to pay something extra for the 2nd car but bound to be less than the airport parking. Airport parking alone is about $65. for the week. Item of note, Detroit Airport is about 15-20 miles west of downtown Detroit.
I'm concerned about you guys getting totally wasted before you even get there.... Believe me, it's painfull... lol

Uhh I'm not aware of any tourney in Windsor. Greektown is in Detroit. I'd suggest booking the hotel posted above, cause it includes free parking for a week and shuttle to airport. The hotel/airport is 18 mi from the casino. We can't leave quite as early as you because we have parent/teacher/student observation meeting at 9am - lol then we hop in car to go do degenerate gambling while Grandma takes care of the kid.
BUT, if you stop to go pee, we should pass you. Actually we'll definitely pass you when Mario gets interrogated at the border. Good luck with that. Just hold your breath and go to your happy place when you bend over...

Not as good as Casino Brantford's $100 tournament, but better than just about any Las Vegas tournament under $100, more than 75% of which are crapshoots! I will post the best places for us to play in Las Vegas in a new thread.
Binions $70, tournies at PF 5.4 skill 3 and Orleans $80. at PF 5.9 & skill 3 are only slightly better are the best for <$100. tournies in Vegas. Can't recall what the Sahara $65 one is but think it's similar.. You are right tho, the rest are real bingo.
