  • A win is a win.
  • Congratulations!
  • Made a mistake and placed 7th in a 180 on STARS. Not a large ding ding but it was STARS (where the river is never nice to me). I seem to get to the 60-70 range then bust. Maybe there is hope as I'm now sitting 15 out of 52 in today's 180 that I"m playing. 15th is where I busted making it 2 cashes on stars..... OMG
  • I haven't posted in this thread in a while. I've had a few wins, and some were fairly substantial, but I didn't hear the DING DING DING in my head. Tonight I had my biggest online score though when I won the $100 rebuy on Stars. I think it qualifies.

  • Congrats Watts. Just cashing in a stars tourney is a win for me let alone taking one down for almost 24K. Good Job.

    LMFAO! Limit is so 2005.....gawd!

Nice hand, Devo. Can I ask why you weren't raising? Even on the river?

    Johnnie

He did bet the river. Everyone else just called.
  • It is pretty sick, you're right... it goes 2 bets preflop, 3 bets on the flop, 4 bets on the turn, all multi-way, and your sitting with top boat. Hahahahahaha........

I bet the river in case I was up against QQ and KK. Even if I knew liberace had a seven, I still would have bet out because of the third diamond. I'm pretty sure liberace would have checked behind if I'd checked the river.

As for the rest of the hand, though... so nice when others do the work for you... when could I have raised? I knew it was going to be capped on the turn, and I didn't want to lose any customers on the flop... me so confused...
  • When I was reading the HH - I thought you were killed by the river Ace. Lucky he had KK instead.
  • Likely wouldn't be in the Ding Ding Ding thread if he got sucked out on. :)

    Nice hand...nice pot.
