Thank You very much! Maybe not a lot of money for many here but it was a lot for me! My bankroll just got a huge boost! I've been reading a lot here and would like to thank everyone here. I'm just way to happy now!!!
Well, first off Wolff, compared to like Watts and Aces and these guys, the 3000 grand is not a lot. I know the comparaison is extreme but I just wanted to say that to me, this is huge... like HUGE! This is my 2nd big money cash so I was just really happy!
Luckly, I rebought once plus the addon, so I spent 9$ in total. I was really lucky early where I had Aces twice in the first 5 hands and went from 3000 to 11000 in 5 hands, so that helped a lot of not spending too much on rebuys! I'm not at my computer at this time, I'm actually at work but I think had like 19K by the break with the add-on so I maximized a lot with that.
I'll try to write a report if you guys are interested my some hands I had and what I was thinking (or the case may be, not thinking!)

I think Watts and Devo would agree that $3k is a pretty good score.

I hope you didn't mistake what i wrote...my intention was to slap you on the back and say, waytofukengo...you made 3000.00 man, be proud of yourself, don't feel like it isn't impressive, it is.
Congrats again, and congrats in advance on your next Ding Ding Ding.

I'd be pleased with $300.Â
Congrats on the win.

Yup... 3K is 3K, and a win is a win. You were that much better than the rest of the field, and that's what matters. Nice job.
Congrats Tom, nice ROI.
And smart too...I saw the sister post "how to quickly withdraw money from Poker Stars..." good thinking.
"Homecoming weekend could lead to some very loose 1/2 NL drunken play - figured Id put $450 in my pocket before that"
Yeah - we may have had a few too many glasses of wine last night!
But, as you can see I employed my risk management technique by withdrawing some cash.
I play, for the most part, because I enjoy the game - I do not consider it as a source of income - which means I just blow any winnings anyway on material goods.
When I used to play more often I would generally hit these limits on Thursday nights - I find the play is just as poor. I cant believe how many people call non-nut lows and/or buy in for $80 when everyone else is at the table with atleast $300.
I figured I would give it a shot for just one night - and it paid off.
Well not a large ding ding ding but after cashing in 3 of my last 5 tourney's and blowing a chip lead in the daniel protege tourney on full contact I took down a $5.00 +.50 tourney this morning
Given how I"ve been playing in ring games this is large.....I'm actually up at full contact now while clearing my bonus
I don't know if the rut is over but it's looking that way. I had a 12th (in the protege tourney) which I blew a chip lead BTW compuease how did you finish? then hit a 11th in a free roll for $15 then hit a 4th for $135 now this. It's been a good week. Now if I can get over the hump in the cash games I'd be gold. Thanx AJ see you in the up coming weeks.
actually finished 8th Joe, despite being severly shortstacked and card dead for the most part of the final hour. Still not good enough tho, needed to finish 3rd.
