It took almost 4 hrs for one of my tickets to process then while i was standing there the cashier kept on swiping my card through stated it would not program then tried two other cards then she said " yeah ok this one worked" so i took it and walked away i didnt make it 5 feet when i pictured myself tournament day trying to use my card and its not working. So i decided to get it verified what a nightmare that was VIP both sent me to cashier, the cashier sent me to poker desk, they laughed and sent me back to VIP, i lost it on VIP boss whom stated he found it suspicious i verifying my own voucher even thou i explained situation, everything turned out ok, but it does take sometime for them to get it too you although i would never leave without my voucher card, i would not put yourself in a situation were you trying get your ticket that morning incase there is an issue because you dont need that headach before tourney. Right next to were you get your vouchers is the VIP desk if take your issue there they usally will phone around and get things done. They are always helpfull
Ya know, the FPC literally gets bigger and bigger every year
We are actually starting to draw some actual pretty big names to come play this series and it's amazing how much of a shit show it is every single year... From scalping to taking 4 hours to verify people winning satellites, it HAS to get better
If they were just smart about it, this could be a HUGEEEE series, just needs to be Alot better run before it kicks off.
Anyone know what is the status of the 1K event sattys at Fallsview. Has the event been sold out? Even if it sold out do they reserve a certain number of seats for the satellite entrances?
I have been wondering, since the tickets to the events are transferable, if you win your seat to the main tournaments through satelites at the casino, are those tickets transferable as well or do they have your name on it and can only be used by that person?
anyone know? my obvious is its just a ticket like any other and should be transferable, but im not sure.
Yea I just called its sold out, Was waiting on some nfl bets to come through they did but i missed my chance to buy in. Fake tickets aside does anyone have a real ticket that they would like to sell im not here to rip people off just looking to play in this thing, if any of you folks do have a ticket please let me know, thanks.
York Region Poker League Meetup Group is running a satellite to the $1k on January 13th in Newmarket. They have purchased the $1k voucher already so this is an opportunity to get into this tournament for those that didn't buy a seat already.

If you guys want to gamble, you can wait till the tournament starts, most of the scaplers will sell below the $1k value, since no one wants to be stuck with a ticket. My buddy bought one last year for $700
I waited about 6 hours last year with no call in. I put my name on the list ~10am and finally sat down somewhere between 4-5pm.
This was 5/10. The 5/5 list was absurd, probably 200 people deep.
Fallsview was nuts last year. There were games with over $100k on the tables easy. When I saw the waiting list, I didn't even bother putting my name down, just headed to CN and played 1/2 there. Still busy, but not near what Fallsview was. My longest wait I believe was 1.5 hrs at CN. But they only ran 1/2 to my knowledge
Ha ha i at fallsview waiting on 550 sat and theres this dude wandering around with 1000$ vouchers sticking out of his pockets trying to act like he is not doing anything, ok so i this old guy finally approaches him and asked how much he replied 1500$. I told old guy wait till 15 befor tourny start and he get it for 700.
