I will just say that canadians are really screwed over when it comes to getting a top class tournament with the top class guys running a show. I hope some day it changes.

Im posing this question to all. Please dispel the myths or reinforce the facts. All of these points were brought up yesterday when I was at Fallsview from pit bosses and players.
1. The super satellite for the 1k is capped at 300 people. True or False?
2. There are now 640 seats in the 1K main event. True or False?
3. When your not able to identify a particular meat it tastes like chicken. True or False?
Im more focused on answering questions 1 and 2. Think of number 3 like a bonus.

1. It's a whole different crew running the FPC, not the same ones that ran the WPT events.

I have an extra ticket for the Fallsview Classic Megasatellite to the $1000 tournament.This ticket allows you to enter the Megasatellite that will take place at the Fallsview Casino on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. This megasatellite is completely sold out. There are a total of 300 players that signed up, with the first 30 players getting a seat in the $1000 Tournamenet that will take place on January 6, 2011. The tournamenet is sold out as well. This is your only chance to still get a seat for the tournamnet. Players will get 5000 chips to start with and levels are 30 minutes long for the satellite.
I am looking to either sell this ticket or trade it for a ticket in the megasatellite that will take place on Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Welcome Mike. Stick around here a while. You may find it interesting, maybe not from a pure poker knowledge perspective but interesting none the less. out of curiosity, why are you worried about spending a little extra for a $1k seat, when you are playing a $100k tournament?
Justy a quick update. No one selling 1k seats yet and the super satellite seats are going for 200.00 an hour before the satellite tourney starts. Sorry Mike you may need to get your friend to try to grab one later tonight after the super ends and people have extra seats.

don't understand why someone who can afford to play in a $100k tourny is looking to save a couple hundred on a $1k seat. Jealous of playing in a $100k tournament.....to quote Omar, "indeed". MM can put me down for a 0.1% participation interest. We can settle up at Atlantis.

3 Step process
1) Maximize profit in your profitable situations
2) Minimize losses in your unprofitable situations
3) Be able to play 100k buyin tournaments
There are plenty of better poker players than me that have a lot less money than me, and I think paying 2k for a 1k seat is a pretty good explanation.
Who is Timex and why does he qualify to 'coach'? Is he Daniel Negreanu or something?
Not saying I'm a better poker player, but I would guess I would be a more valuable coach to someone playing in these tournaments than Daniel would be, and probably better than anyone who will be at Fallsview for this tournament series.

See if you would have listened to me, you and your friend would have freerolled the $1k event! RIM was trading at $59.50 when I made this original post (2pm), and closed the day at $61.70, for a nice $3k profit. Ship it bitches!
