We'll have our laptop, so there be a few trip reports posted for sure

Anybody want to take an +/- on how many times I lose with AA? I say 5.

I'm sorry. I'm going to have to implement the std. Vegas rule of no bad beat stories unless you pay $1 first.

Have a really good time everyone... Wish I could be there, really tried hard for a while to convince bead to fly but just couldn't get it done.... :( Story of my life... Make sure the trip reports get done, it's mandatory...

Out of curiosity just checked my Spirit Air deals and I could get on the same flights as you guys for $36. each way, $109. total return with taxes.. Actually I can get flights any day from the 14th to the 24th for the same cost. Very tempting..... Didn't check hotel deals tho... Hmmmm... anyone want to be my roomie on a last minute trip... Mario? where r u?

Somebody convince me.... :) I have the $1200.+ I won on Full Tilt early this week just burning a hole in my pocket... :)

So you'll let Mario sleep with you but not comp eh?

Got the awesome midlifemobile today at $24/day.

    dodge_caravan.jpg

When this van's a rockin'....it's loaded with drunk tourists from KW.

    7 passenger minivan Jeff.
  • That is a sick price. Just regular fare too, not even a $9 fare club price.

Jump on it because you know by tonight it will be sold out.
  • Did you try your Harrah's card? Because I am seeing IP as comped except for Fri/Sat 60/70 so $130 for the week.

I didn't think Jeff would want to share a room with his 'son' and 'daughter-in-law'!

Jeff- Book it and let's go!!!!!
  • Jeff doesn't sleep anyways.

You're thinking of Big Bob. Jeff just gets up early so he can dominate the 9am Excalibur donkey tournament.
  • Pack your wife's bags. Start driving West. When you are about halfway there, tell her she can walk or fly. :D

Logging in with my card I have a Tier score of 389 and a Rewards Credit balance of 2,605 but get the same costs as I do if I check without logging in as a rewards member, $360. +$43 taxes for the week. When i went in June I got like $20. per night during the week... May have to use the IP during the week and find something off strip on Fri/Sat if I go. Flights are still available as of this minute...

Suggestion of the week at least... Bead lol'ed when she read this... Then said "don't you dare!"
  • Why don't you call IP and ask them what they can do for you. Tell them how many times you have stayed there in the past. Tell them your friends tier score is only 374 and have never stayed there and is getting comped for 5/7 nights.
  • What time and flight # is your flight back from Vegas on the 21st?
  • All details in OP. Try calling hooters. Online the prices are not coming up the same as shown in their calendar. 29/34/29/89/99/34/29
  • Call and ask them for this:

  • Ok, booked my flights (the same as the rest of you) and 7 nights at the IP, thanks to help from Moose..

    Couple of questions..

What time are you guys leaving Cambridge? and are you car pooling? Can I give anyone a ride?

Where did you rent your van from? I can't find anything for less than $200. for the week at the moment...
  • You are in with us. It's a 7 passenger van. But I did use priceline. Leaving my house 9am ish. You can probably also fit in Johnnie's car, though it might be tight.

I am riding with you guys to Detroit. Not sure on the rental car, I'm leaning towards getting one as then we could split into groups if we wanted to go different directions. I'm getting such a cheap deal this trip that I would like to contribute some benefit to the group as a whole. :)

This is how you can contribute and still be uber-frugal:

On Tuesdays from 9 pm till midnight, you can get 5¢ beers. Bring a dollar and get us all drunk!
  • Chop the van with us. You won't do better than a van chopped 7 ways. It will be more roomy than Johnnie's car.
  • Woot!!! All packed.
  • In two bags I hope.

    Barely. :D

Are you driving to Detroit separately?

Ok, I give, I'll chop... against my better judgement as I'm sure my skill gives me an edge... oh wait a minute, not that kinda chop...:)
Do you have room for me to leave my car in your driveway? No problem if not as I can also leave it at Johnnie's...
