My Christmas is going to be on Boxing Day, and my shopping is all done so I decided to head down to Brantford for some poker. If you can believe it, they shut down today at 6:00 p.m. and are opening again tomorrow (Christmas Day) at noon. I arrived around 2:00 p.m. and walked out at 5:30 up enough to pay for my mother's Christmas present.
It looks like they are having tournament on Thursdays and every other Monday starting in January. The Monday tournaments are a mixture of $140 bounty, $100 re-buy and $400 freeze out, with an $800 freeze out the last Monday in March.
Thanks for the good news. If the structure for the freezeouts are similar, I will probably play. I will have to see if the horrible rebuy structure has been improved.

Didn't realize 1/2 nl was at Old Niagara. Craps was $15 at Fallsview too, so stayed at old Niagara, first time having the Market Buffet, not bad. Nothing exciting, craps for 30min waiting for poker, poker for about 2.5 hours or so, +$30 on the night. There are some really bad players out there, only if I had a little more time to play.
Took awhile longer to get there, the Burlington skyway was closed because of high winds, but good thing for GPS.

It was an interesting session. I ended up down just short of 2 buyins but I seem to have lost a lot of my swagger at the tables. I guess that's what happens when you play live 10 times a year. Gotta get my confidence back up but with school starting again, it might be a while before I try and do that.

Was at Fallsview on an impromptu trip. No poker, just craps this time. Saw they were spreading 5-10 limit and 10-20 limit though.
Craps was so busy, only got to roll twice. 12 first roll, 33 second roll. +$99 on the night. I wish I wasn't such a chicken sh*t on betting. Another guy rolled about 44 times before sevening out.
I went and registered for the tournament today (Thursday $200) and was hopping to play some poker, as it was my first time at the casino in Brantfod. I called 1 hr ahead of time to put my self on the waiting list. After I arrived, I waited another 1 hr and 45 minutes, then decided to leave since there were still 4 more players ahead of me on the waiting list. Who would have knew the casino would be that busy during the day on a Tuesday.
How can I identify you on Thursday BlondeFish? I want to say hello.
Reef, I cracked a guys Aces twice who dressed up just like you. He thought limping was cute twice, I was in the CO once and on the button the other. 24 man tourney, I got 9 $50 bounties haha.
But yeah, he dressed up all fancy just like you and went home early.

Just played 2/2$ no limit for 2 hours without winning a single hand before I busted out with a set of tens when someone caught a backdoor flush, worst poker experience I've ever had, except for the last set I never even hit a top pair ._.
Going to Casino Niagara tonight for some 1/2 action. Should be there until 2-3. Haven't played hold'em cash games since December so this should be fun.
Heading to the BCC after about an months absence, will be sitting the 5/10 game wearing my black Montreal Canadians hat and a hooded sweatshirt of some description.
