A friend is driving to Seneca/Fallsview this afternoon so I get to carpool. In case somebody want to carpool with us on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday to Fallsview, contact me.
To be environmentally friendly and for +EV poker talk, I carpooled with a forumer last Thursday (to rake-free satellites), another forumer on Friday, and another friend on Wednesday. I will be driving tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) to Fallsview, possibly with a fourth friend.
I will also drive there on Friday afternoon, when I plan to book a motel room so I can play the last WPT satellite after midnight, then walk over at Saturday noon to register for the big satellites. I got to play only two $1,240 satellites last Saturday, so I have the nice "problem" of winning more $1,240 vouchers than I can play every week.
I'll be in Niagara Falls this weekend playing the lowest stakes in the room (probably 5/5 or 5/10).

Just left work. Smallest game is 5/10 NLHE. 3 tables running. 115 people on the list. Also, 10/20, 10/25 and two 25/50 NLHE games going. 9 satellite tables running to finish off the $460 satellites tonight.

How many designated tables for satellites for Saturday/Sunday?
I should be swinging by Fallsview sometime in the early afternoon, around 2 or 3, on Saturday. Someone please tell me that they will be running their smaller games.
waltsfriend and I will be at BCC from 2 pm onward. Will be registering for Thursday's tourney. I will be wearing my faded beat up Canada hat and playing 5/10.
Called too early/left too late and was bumped from the huge list before we got there. So waltsfriend sat down at BJ and I played the +ev Hockey promo where you shoot a hockey ball through some small holes in a board covering the net. Nailed it for a Team Canada cribbage board and deck of cards. Moved on to craps. Played 2 shooters only. The second shooter was hot and I walked away freerolling in the tourney already. Woot. As usual then donked off most of my winnings at -ev poker. Managed to play the hockey promo a second time and nailed the five hole again for another Team Canada prize. Met a bunch of forumers, including woog30, damanj16 and the infamous *Zunni*. Yes he does exist. Actually got to play for a couple hours with him right beside me.
Good times. Will be back with Waltsfriend again on Thurs for the -ev tourney/cash games and more +ev craps.

Ended up -$50 after our table was 5 handed for a while and I lost with AdQd to KQo on a Qh9d4c 2d Ks board after we capped pre-flop/flop, raised to 30 on the turn and 20 on the river.
I'll be there between 10pm and 6am...but I wll NOT be in the poker room; look in the Salon Prive.
I did not read that in time. This might be a dumb question but can anyone just walk into the Salon? I always assumed it was off limits to tourists/non high rollers. I don't expect there to be security at the door but I figure someone would ask you to leave if you are just walking around and watching.
