While my live experience flat out pales in comparison to the regs on here, i finished in the money about two months ago in one of these but found it to be ridiculous. Despite the starting stacks and 30 min levels it was a push fold fest with about 30 guys still in it. That was just under half the starting size and it felt like everyone had about 10-15 bb left. I dont remember post hole card play. It was shove fold rinse repeat.
Like i said, not a lot of MTT experience but it genuinely felt like it wasn't worth the money despite finishing in it.
What was your buy in? Anything under $250 at BCC is a bingofest
lol, $250. is too much for me... Remember I really try not to play any MTT more than 5% of my bankroll and this would be almost 10% of my current live BR. I know you guys think I'm a nit but I really do keep separate life, live and online bankrolls. Out of my poker bankroll I also pay for hotel and flights as well and haven't had a lot of luck lately.
hehe, maybe I should sell half my action like you guys do... Sounds stupid for a 250 tournament though...

Ok, you guys inspire confidence.... Don't know why, I'm not in your class... But I'm in and registered.. Only #9 though.. Hopefully they get a rush..
So Wetts, carpool? Or is that too risky since I'll likely outlast you by 7 or 8 hours....

haha, i'll donk some 5/10 limitsss when I bust early. Carpool is good, Im coming from Miss. Pretty sure they'll hit the cap.
Looks like Im heading to seneca this Wednesday leave the house about 2pm to 2-5 it, tourney at 7, should sit around 4 at least....then when the room fills probably stay till 1ish to get some of the bust-out tilters!!
Feel like playing tonight. Its been what seems forever (at least 4 months) but where to go? Brantford or GBH? Anyone else at either of these places tonight?
Not a whole lot of traffic in this thread so it's ok I post 3 days late. Was at the Deerfoot casino while in Calgary. Played 1/2 for about 2.5 hours and had 3 or 4 playable hands the whole time. I watched flop after flop after flop where even if I did play some trash nothing was hitting. I don't recall seeing 1 walk or even blinds chop the entire time too.
I lost $5 so happy about the result. (Guy across from me was on the other side of variance flopping top set, twice, in 2 hours and dragging some pots from them too.)
Thinking of heading down to Niagara for the evening, anyone interested? If I'm not on here and you are going, email me "firstnamecookson@gmail.com". Just substitute my real first name (4 letters) for "firstname" above... And if you can't figure that out yer too dumb to be considered..

If you want some company, you could pick me up on your way by. Although, we'd be stuck at Niagara as I don't have a passport.
Sorry already had left by the time you posted this... decided to play Seneca since the wife wasn't going this time and doesn't like Seneca.
Nice $440. profit (and this is at the $100. max tables). Got there and they had 5 - 1/2 max 100 tables and only 1 max 200 table with like 15-16 waiting... Have no idea why they wouldn't have opened another. Sat at the 100 max waiting for a seat at the 200 max but never left it as the action was real good, I got up over $200. really quickly and there were at least 4 other stacks over over $200. with one guy at $900. who said he had been there 20+ hrs already. Won a couple of good hands, one with K's allin preflop with a guy with only $80. to start (he never showed). Another $100. pot with a set of 6's, lost a couple with 2pr to higher 2 pr..
Then won a huge $500.+ pot with the nut flush. I'm on the button with AQ diamonds, 4-5 limpers, I raise to 7, everyone calls... Flop comes Q and 2 smaller diamond's, very nice. Checked around to me, bet is $15., 3 callers. Turn is a smaller black card. Checked to me, bet $20., 2 callers. River is the beautiful 10 diamonds. BB leads out for $40. MP calls, and I think, what can I bet to get a caller...? I settle on a raise to $120. since if I min raise it looks too strong and maybe one of them would think I'm trying to buy it with the $120. bet. To my surprise they both call fairly quickly. BB had 8,5 diamonds and the MP folds after I show, saying he had the K high flush.. I don't think I've ever been in a hand where three of us had a flush.
Very nice evening...
Think I'm going to spend New Years Eve at Casino Niagara drunk hunting... Hopefully I don't end up being the hunted.. It's always a wild place to spend tonight.

You're right. It was a 150$ bounty.
Looks like the $200. freezout and up are 30 min blinds, less than $200. is 20 min.
edit.. with 80 players I would think this should be about 6 1/2 - 7 hours in length, similar to a Buzzardd tourney, maybe a little quicker.
so, youre in then?
