I'll be in the Falls this weekend (proctologist convention) and looking to play a few hands. Any one who's gonna be there and want to hook up post in this thread.
A forumer wants do some late night fishing at Niagara Falls tonight, so I'm thinking of going first to Seneca Casino's giveaway night with wall-to-wall American :fish: until 10 PM, then deciding where to play after that.
Aside from ReefAquarium, is anybody else interested in carpooling to Fallsview on Saturday? This is my BBV report from Fallsview last night.
Brag: I finally got to pick up my WPT satellite voucher which has been hold hostage for the past six weeks. Had my 14th consecutive winning session. I haven't had a losing session since July 5 in Las Vegas, including the following: Binion's Casino (tournament), Bill's Gambling Saloon (craps & blackjack!), Tropicana (craps & blackjack again), Slots-A-Fun, Imperial Palace, Excalibur; Seneca Casino, Georgetown WPT home game, and Fallsview.
Beat: Despite 12 people on the satellite interest list when I phoned, there was not a single satellite held on Wednesday. An Orangeville player who won an event at the Caesars Palace Mega Stack Series told me that he had been waiting since noon. I hope the rake-free WPT satellite on August 2 doesn't turn out like this.
I hope to be at Fallsview by noon by carpooling with another forumer. If I don't get enough beauty sleep, I'll take a nap on top of the satellite table while waiting.
After my lucky carpool last weekend when I won a WPT seat, I want to carpool every weekend morning to Fallsview. With no rake-free WPT satellites in sight, I want to be at Fallsview by noon every Saturday and Sunday to register and play ALL the raked satellites.
I will bring my $15 Copag cards, and poker books for pkrfce9 and ReefAquarium for our inter-library loan. If xxxcindyxxx wants to come out of hiding and join us for dinner or file a paternity lawsuit, then you can find us in our summer cottage called Fallsview Poker Room and Resort.
I plan to drive there by noon on Saturday and Sunday to register for all the raked WPT satellites. I have been avoiding :fish: the WSOP/WPT high-stakes sharks in the $1,240 satellites, but this Saturday, I will use all four of the $1,240 vouchers that I have won and take on the sharks to try to win more $10,300 seats. I phoned a couple of motels to avoid having to drive back and forth by myself, but I haven't found any reasonably-priced accomodation this long weekend.
ReefAquarium, please lend me your Professional No Limit Hold'em book while you have my Negreanu paperweight.
To esool, Slope disappeared after ReefAquarium and I had our usual celebration meal, so I still have your Copag cards.
Called at 6:50 pm on Friday, wasn't seated until about 9:15, so almost a 2.5 hr wait. The wait can be brutal on long weekends, especially as they give every last chance to anyone on the wait list before taking their name off.
