Casino Niagara's BBJ was recently hit and it is currently at $8K. Fallsview's BBJ is now > $106,000. A $1,050 WPT satellite finally ran last night for only the second time this season, so I will go there tonight, but I'm currently stuck playing an online tournament with late registration up to level 14.

Say fucking word it got hit, do you know what it was at before?
I'm checking into a NF hotel on Friday afternoon myself (only ~$15 + fees). Fallsview has inflexible dealer shifts so the room will probably continue to be half-empty on Friday afternoon whatever the demand, and there will be a lot more action on Saturday and Friday night.
Will be hitting Fallsview either Friday or Saturday this weekend.
Buddy, do you think it is worth while going Friday afternoon or makes more sense to go Saturday ?
No, I have posted about the great hotel deals I've gotten before. The key is to get an offer that includes $50 Fallsview casino vouchers, so it's like getting a $50 cash discount. Friends & family have stayed with me at the Best Western beside Fallsview, Ramada, Four Points Sheraton, and even a Presidential Suite at Embassy Suites!
I already booked this deal for the busiest nights of WPT FPC on February 19 & 20, which will be $199+ or sold out at the Hilton.
Despite the BBJ being hit, there are already long waiting lists as of 1 pm. Only 7 2/5, a 5/10 tables & no WPT satellite tables have been opened up by Fallsview, despite the demand. The good news is that I was told 3 WPT tables will be the norm whenever it is busy enough, so let the WPT Wars begin!

see you later tonight. Should be there by 8pm. Good luck and kick some ass !!
Had a dream table tonight. Played 2-5 for 5 hours in the first hour I was up to $ 2700 from a $ 500 starting stack. kept hitting silly boats like J 2 and 7 9 . also made 2 nut flushes against second nut flush. second hour was pretty boring and I wasn't hitting any flops. third hour I took a rough beat and doubled up a guy for just over $ 400 I flopped nut flush he flopped 333 and hit quads on the turn. Not feeling too bad about that hand as I would have never folded even after the board paired up.
last couple of hours I got hot again and flopped some really stupid straights. I was calling almost any raise under $25 to see a flop. thing is I was really hitting them hard. I cracked kings twice.... once with 2 4 off and once with 6 7 suited both time flopped the straight.
didn't play any satellites but ended up winning $ 4800 .
I am pretty sure Buddy won a couple more satellites, I think I saw him filling out some paper work a couple times.
Will return next weekend and try not donk it all back.
Also...... the place was friggin packed. I think the boss said there were 170 names on the 2-5 list at one point.
philliivey, are you able to play in any of the five tournaments at Casino Rama starting on Monday, February 8? I'm thinking of buying more tickets for my horseys who are willing to commit to playing.

Just saw this, Not in the near future. I don't have Monday's off anymore as the old shift I worked was Tues-Saturday so almost every Monday I was at Rama. Saying that I have more vacation time this year so could look at something in the future as I can get a "free" room. My joking aside in the Feb 8th rama thread interesting to see the group here coming North and if the stars align one day we can do a meet up at rama and most likely can get you guys dinner.
No big news from last night. Lost just under $ 500 . No big hands that were interesting. Donked off the last $350 in an all in where I had KJ off against AJ on a KJ6 board, the ace comes on the river.
place was packed again only saw Buddy from the forum. We worked out the winning strategy for the Rama tourney so we should finish 1st and 2nd.
LOL, third place is $3,420 which is a 1,040% return on your buy-in "only," so I'll forward my friends' phone calls to you looking for a sold-out ticket.
Taking a break from my local home game so I decided to visit Woodbine last night. The room was packed and it took about 20 minutes to get a 2-5 seat which isn't bad considering I was 5th on the list. I played for a few hours on 1 BI and cashed out fairly decent. Might go back again before Fallsview Classic.
Believe it or not, Fallsview charged a poker player $30 for parking just because he didn't swipe in for >= 3 hours of play. I was given a heads-up by an employee about how stupid the new policy is, so don't drive to Fallsview without finding out how much you have to pay or play. It seems that $140/hour session fee for up to 17 tables plus hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra rake for the stupid BBJ is not enough for Fallsview.
Parking lot is not run by the casino, they just cover your parking costs with required amount of play.
Pricing varies depending on day of week and what events are going on. Most weekends its $10-$20, so as far as I'm concerned it's like a $10 comp every session, which is by far the best comp rate in Ontario.
The official policy has always been 3 hrs of play to qualify, and they used to enforce it, but the last couple of years I've been able to park for free without even playing, like when the list isn't moving and I get frustrated and head to Seneca. If this policy is now being enforced again, it's probably because too many people are getting comped parking while they take in the sights, are staying at the Best Western, or do other activities, without even setting foot in the casino and have no play on their card.
At the end of the day, if you're playing your session and swiping your card, you have no issue. If you drop 2 buy-ins in an hour and leave, then I'm sure the brush would adjust your card.
Comments
Edit: also good luck on both tournaments lol
Seems fairly packed here too

BTW, for all you BBJ hunters, it is now $118,000.
