The Cook Crew is pleased to announce:
:DThe Cook Crew Main Event :D
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament
Saturday, January 14th at 12:00pm
(doors open at 11:15am)

To celebrate the start of the new year and our 6th month as hosts, our next event will be our biggest so far. We will be hosting an all-day deep-stack freeze-out. Players will receive 10,000 chips for a $50 buy-in. There will be no rebuys or add-on. Tables will be limited to 8 players per table, with the final table forming at 9 players. "Robert's Rules" will be used to resolve any disputes. People are free to play additional games during and after the main tournament as tables become available.

Blinds
The blind levels will be 25-25, 25-50, 50-100, 75-150, 100-200, BREAK, 100-200(25), 150-300(50), 200-400(50), 300-600(75), BREAK, 400-800(100), 600-1200(200), 800-1600(200), DINNER, 1000-2000(300), 1200-2400(400), 1500-3000(500), 2000-4000(500), 2500-5000(500), BREAK, 3000-6000(1000), 4000-8000(1000), 5000-10000(1000), 6000-12000(2000), 8000-16000(2000), BREAK, 10000-20000(3000), 12000-24000(4000), 15000-30000(5000), 20000-40000(5000), 25000-50000(5000). Each level will be 25 minutes long. The main tournament is planned to last approximately 12 hours depending on the number of players.

Payout(all games are rake-free)
1st place - 35%
2nd place - 20%
3rd place - 14%
4th place - 11%
5th place - 8%
6th place - 6%
7th place - 4%
8th place - 2%
Prizes below first will be rounded up to the next $5. In the event that we have less than 45 players, our standard payout chart will be used.

Dinner
The dinner break will be from approximately 5:40 until 6:55. Players are welcome to bring food or order out, and we are hoping most will choose to stay during the dinner break for an informal "forum dinner", although you are free to go out if desired.

    Well, it seems like this could be a Ryder Cup warm-up match.  We have about 1/2 of Team London, 1/2 of Kitchener's players, the Milton Boys, and most of the Waterloo guys!  We still need a few guys to make an appearance from Guelph/Cambridge/Toronto...   Almost 1/2 full, and 3 weeks to go! :)
