  • Bust w AQ vs 94♥️. All in on Q high flop with two hearts for $100k pot. Turn Ace, river heart. GG.

    Top 153 pay.
  • Not complaining because I would play the hands the same way again.

    Day 1 A .....

I did wear my sexy hat and got beat down like a red headed step child.

1st big hand I have KhQh on the button and it folds around to me I raise it 3 x and only get called by the big blind.

Flop comes QcQs7h Big blind bets the pot min raise and he flats.

Turn 2h Big blind bets close to pot and I min raise about 3x and he flats.

River 4d Big blind bets about half the pot and I just call.

He flips over AQ off suit. I felt like Charlie Brown when they pull the football out of the way as he is kicking it.

I was left with 1700 chips

I chipped up a little bit to just under 4000.

Get pocket Kings under the gun and flat call it. Some one raises about 4x and everyone folds .... I jam in all my chips.

Guy flips over A7 off suit .

Flop comes two 7's ....... I puke in my mouth a little bit and sheepishly exit the tournament area.

I wouldn't play either hand any differently so I'm not upset about it.

    Day 1B

    No hat

played really well and was up to 41 K at the dinner break.

Lost a 20K pot to a beautiful young girl where I was middle position and she was small blind.

I had AQ off and she had AK off on a AA7 rainbow flop. I doubled her up and I can't see ever folding this. Just a cooler is all.

My last hand of the night I was a little steamed about. They just moved a guy to our table that had about 90K in chips and I was down to 20K . I jammed in 20K with pocket Jacks and he called with pocket 5's. rivered a 5 to knock me out. I don't think I call if I were him. I guess I could be doing it with a big Ace a lot of the time but worst case is he is in a flip against 2 overs or dominated by an over pair. I guess in the long run you want that guy to make the call because the other 4 times I win the pot.

Going to have to give some serious consideration to my costume for the 5K now.
  • DirtArse is ITM with >= $1,646. 175,000 chips so almost double the average.
  • Go Dirty Bum GO
  • My good buddy is still in the hunt. down to 55 players .

    Vito Cosentino ...... GOOD LUCK.
  • 100 left . Avg is 18. I have 38

  • lol had a super loud new yorker at my table for day B in the $1100

Anyone who was in my general area heard him probably, he said "cus" a lot. like cousin. i guess its an american thing.

his nickname fittingly enough was "Cus" i believe, it was a long day and i busted at the end, its a blur

did he have on a red track jacket ???? there was an asshat at the next table loud talking for a while and telling everyone how bad they were playing. I put my one earphone in just to drown him out.
  • My buddy Vito just busted 40th place $5,400 . He got in his last 70K with AJ suited and chip leader called him with pocket 3's and the trees held up.

pretty good for his first ever live poker tourney.
  • DirtArse flopped a set and all the chips went in for a huge 600K pot, but he got a bad beat. He cashed $4,557, but I've never seen a more depressed casher.
  • With 7 eliminations to go, at least three members are still in for the super satellite with the last 40 winning a $2,500 entry. Card Dead & djgolfcan have > 60K, while PocketTwos is close to the 42,553 average.
  • Oh you lucky bappers. I made it to the $2500 tourney!! So did card dead. Sadly pocket twos was the bubble boy. Don't feel too bad for him, he still plays tomorrow from winning a seat at OPT.

    Congrats you two. Good luck!

No I basically bubbled in 46th. My first real bubble that matters. That's poker though right?

Does anyone know if they're running 2-5 in the casino this morning?
  • That's too bad - would have been great if all 4 of us got through. Bubbling sucks.

Running 5 tables of 2-5 right now.
  • Went on the 2-5 list at 11am. She said there are about 40 ahead of me but they're opening 3-4 tables at noon. Would have been nice had she mentioned that none of the tables were for 2-5. Still about 20 ahead of me so I'm just hitting the road back to TO. What a waste of almost 2 hours!

    Live update:

"Cuz" is at my table today. I like him.
  • BUDDY..... If you see XUAN today ask her what happened at her table. I heard she told some guy he was a piece of $hit.

curious what he said or did.
  • Live Update:
Joe McKeehan is 2 tables over from me. He looks exhausted.

Sitting at just over 40k at second break.
  • Give em hell Glenn...
  • Dinner break. Still around 40k.

Table broke and I've gone a bit card dead :D at the new table. It's also not as soft, but I've been able to win a couple of decent pots with marginal holdings because my image is good.
