I was just trying to post a new thread with a screenshot of holdem manager 2
Are you going to repost it? I'm trying to decide whether to try out HEM2 or PT4 beta first.
  • fyi malwarebytes crashed my computer repeatedly and it has worked fine for months since I uninstalled it.

No, don't think I will take the chance,LOL.

Hm2 has a report called "races".

It shows all the races you have been in pre flop, flop, turn and what your average equity was in those spots, then another column shows what the percentage of those you actually won.

Like for the last 2 months( I think) when I have 80+% equity I am only winning 33% of the time right now, and obviously it is freakin killing me. :(.

Their are a couple I am winning more than the percent of time I should be but only slightly.

It is quite a eye opener if you put all your hands into it.

You are most likely talking about something else. The free version of Malwarebytes is an on demand scanner NOT a resident scanner so it would be impossible for it to "crash" your computer... Please do not spread fud.

Worst customer service by far. Never call on the Friday of a long weekend.

Just in case fed, i mean fud = fear, uncertainty and doubt (I didn't know for the longest time what fud was)

Hey great, I didn't know about the 2nd. Is it better than AVG / Avira? Must be eh.

I used to really like AVG but it has really become kinda bloated over the last couple of years. Installed on an older computer really tends to slow it down significantly. My other favorite besides MSSE is Avast. It's really quite good and not too resource hungry. Don't have much personal experience with Avira. Keep in mind that none of these do much for the much more common Trojan Fake alerts and spyware. Infected websites are by far the most common transmitter these days.

hopefully we don't get any that jump species, ie web => human...
  • These days I use only MSSE, definitions are updated religiously and there's a very small memory footprint.

The most effective anti-spyware/malware, imo, is still between the keyboard and the chair. Just don't click on shady links and you should be golden.

As far as clean porn sites go...if you can't find a clean one, I'm guessing you're googling "porn" and feeling lucky.

    +1 ^ This for sure...
  • Okay . . . something different. My laptop just shifted to what I will call a "seniors" setting. All text is larger and, instead of seeing the entire page onscreen, I now have to slide the bar to view the right edge. I can see threads just fine, but the main page is too "wide" This happened through no deliberate action I can think of, and I'll be damned if I can figure out how to revert.

    NVM . . . I learned something today.

Hold down the "Ctrl" key and use the scroll wheel to increase/decrease the size in your web browser... sheesh, at least of you figured it out you could tell the rest of us...

And I'm a mod so I use my powers.. :)
  • Never laid a finger on my "Ctrl" or "Alt" keys, but somehow the "zoom" went up to 150% from 100%. Fixed now.

Thanks, I learned something today. Now I can read the fine print without going blind.

P.S. Speaking of going blind, does this zoom feature work on DrTyore's sites? ;)
  • So got the new router on Friday night, had some problems setting it up but got it working, internet seems faster now:wink2:.

So got that out of the way and just got good ( and surprising)news on the money front so I am in high spirit right now.:)

Good going Philli, I hope you also secured your wireless?

    Yes. :)

  • And thats what is wrong with these easy to setup WPS routers.. I never use WPS and always turn off broadcast... Not sure what Philli is using...

Keep in mind this process is wayyyyyy too complicated for 99% of people out there... Sorta like a determined burglar won't be put off by locks on your doors, just makes it more difficult so he is more than likely to move on to an easier mark.
  • I know, just felt like stirring up some shit for philli... ;)
