People have tried like Kevin Nash, they just gave up as Scott Hall will not listen.

I have a coworker who has been in rehab like 3 times for drugs, still no good, he has lost everything and he came to work all fucked up last week.

But on a more positive note, I can't wait for a full sincara match! I am a fan of this guy already.
  • Scott Hall has been given numerous helping hands, including WWE paying for him to go to rehab on at least two occassions but it may have been 3-4. That was just so sad to see. Justin Credible didn't look much better at the end of it either.

Sounds like Sin Cara might have some heat a la Jericho, as he's been a little high and mighty backstage apparently.
  • Lesser known....

  • WOW. I have seen some pretty "out of it" people in my day, but I have never seen anyone look as bad as Hall did in those videos. Makes we wish I had not clicked the link . . .
  • I am a sad panda if this edge thing is him saying he reitires.:(
  • GG Edge. Sad to see him go but glad that he walked away while he can still walk.
  • is Edge really done or is he somehow gonna end up with TNA like Kurt Angle? ???
  • I am hoping he was smart enough with his money, and right enough in his head, that he can walk away completely. Sadly, I can see him coming back for the occasional visit/payday.

On a side note, it will be interesting to see who they hang the belt on in the short term. Del Rio will get a run soon, but I doubt he gets it right away.
  • There's no comeback match for this one guys. He's done, for good. The stuff he said about the doctor's telling him he would be risking paralysis and possibly death was legit. His neck is like Austin's but to a worse degree. Austin could still work another year or so possibly. Edge can't. If he could do anymore in the ring, even one more match, he would have been the type to put someone over on his final night, especially as the champ.

By all accounts, he was smart with his coin as he came in during JR's regime of making the young kids sit under the financial learning tree rather than only the wrestling one.
  • Edge is a good guy from orangeville and had an amazing career. He did want he wanted to do, be a wrestler in the WWF/WWE.

All the best to him in retirement from wrestling and whatever he decides to do from here on out weather that is something behind the scenes in the WWE.
  • Yea, from what I've read....

I don't remember the name of the condition, but the damage to his neck, although "repaired" has hindered the ability for spinal fluid to flow through his spinal column. This is causing pain, spasms / loss of control, and numbness in extremities. He would not be allowed to perform in a physical manner due to this medical concern.

I remember reading an interview with him in the Toronto Sun, and he said his goal was to become the (then) WWF Heavyweight Champion. I laughed, thinking he was a great tag team mid-carder. I'm glad he proved me wrong. Thank you Adam Copeland.

  • Joe E. Legend has a nice column on the canoe site today.
  • When I was in grades 7-9 we lived in Orangeville and my brother was friends with Adam (my brother is 1 month older than Adam). I didn't meet him very many times because my brother typically went over to his house but even then he was pretty obsessed with wrestling. They didn't keep in touch (we moved to Windsor) but it was always interesting to see him on TV.

Here's a link to the Canoe article about his career that was mentioned above, including his break into the business by writing an essay for a newspaper contest:

  • Thank You EDGE!
    Thank You EDGE!
    Thank You EDGE!
  • That thank you mom chant on smackdown was amazing!:o
  • Ya know...

You really have to admit, when they want to, WWE can really pull some classy moments. The little send off to Edge was fantastic.

  • Sounds like a awful raw and from the start of it, looks like that could be spot on. Usually not bad when it is from England which I have alot of poker peeps over there.:)

Or maybe not, just looking over the final results (I did fall asleep before raw ended) it looks kinda even, but there is a rumour that undertaker will still get moved to raw........ and Jericho is returning once that dancing crap is done with, lol

Also I love this r truth heel turn, that promo last night was freakin funny!:wink2:

Yes, FU Vince for not allowing a performer from your competition to appear on your live broadcast. Ditto to TNA for not allowing a contracted employee to appear on the flagship program of your rival with no possibility of being able to put over that he works for you.

    For shame, all of youz.
  • haha, ummmmm from what I read, TNA said it was ok for foley to appear.:o
  • Call it a hunch, they didn't.

As for Raw, good stuff for the most part but kind of a waste for the last 10 minutes, even if the video package was sweet.
  • I fell asleep again at about 10:40ish p.m. :/
