Yes, where do you plan to be on your last day on June 25? StinkyFingers and I are scheduled to arrive in Vegas at 10:20 AM on Thursday.
I fly out at 10:15 Thursday so will be around until about 8pm. Don't really have any plans for the rest of my time here. I may play the Excal 9 am donkament again then could meet you at the Rio. Too bad you don't make it in time for that, I could show you what real donkament skill entails.... These big ones are all luck, the Excal is where the real skill shows through....
Just got back from the Caesars 7PM, decent structure, 6K chips, 40 min blinds, 201 runners, I finished 35th. Gogie still in when I left.
Got to 17K fairly early, just after 1st break, went completely card dead for a while, then my JJ runs into KK.. One nice stretch I had early.
Hand 1 - 5,6dd in the cutoff, 50/100 blinds, 1 limper, I raise to 600, folded to BB. He is a nice kid from the UK. I gather he plays fairly decent stakes online, knows Siratts, Timex, etc. He reraises me to 2K.. I agonize and show my fold.... lol... I ask him how he knew, Says he didn't and shows KK courtesy..
Hand 2 next button. early position raises. I reraise with 10,10, he delberates and pushes for anout 2/3 my stack. I call, he shows 9,9 and I hold.
Next hand I have QJ clubs in the hijack, 1 limper, I call. Blinds both complete.
Flop Q,7,5 2 clubs. bingo.. I bet 300, BB calls, turn is offsuite K, he checks I bet 400, he calls. River 2 of clubs, he checks, I now value bet 600, he pushes, I call. He turns over 3,4 clubs for smaller flush.. I eliminate two people in two hands...

How early are you getting to the Rio? I can meet you guys there in the satellite room if I have an idea. I have to leave for the airport around 8pm.
Just watched the end final table of the Seniors event.. Really fast moving and exciting to watch.. Only 3 hours to play it out, the kids have nothing on us! This hand was the sickest beat I haved ever witnessed..
Michael Morusty Eliminated in 4th Place ($126,863) Scott Buller made his standard raise to 150,000 from under the gun and action moved to Michael Morusty on the big blind. "Are you picking on me again," Morusty asked. "You know what? I like you and because I like you, I'll show you much I'm picking on you," Buller answered. Morusty thought about it for a second and said, "What if I raise? OK, I raise," at which point Buller moved all in. Morusty snap called and the hands were shown. Morusty: As,Ah Buller: Ac,Kh: Morusty's fans let out a huge cheer before the board came K,3,8 all clubs . It was then Buller's camp that took over the cheering when the 4c landed on the turn and the 7c on the river. Morusty takes home $126,863 for fourth place, while Buller takes a commanding chip lead of 5.8 million.
Board ran out 5 clubs. You've never seen that? You play with some sort of strange 3 suited deck or what?
That bad a beat at that critical of a time I haven't. The AA was like 93-6 to win or so... I was sickening even to watch. He took it real well though, real class....
On a side note, I'm at McCarran, awaiting my flight home, left Blondefish playing satellites at the Rio. He was 1 for 2 when I left. I expect he should get in at least a 1000 by the time he leaves.... lol...
What the temperature in the WSOP turnament rooms. The last time I was there, you were freezing if you played in shorts and a tee shirt.
Any difference?
Depends on which room and what area. I found quite a bit of temp range. Now I never play in shorts so I was fine. In fact I had a light jacket available but never used it. Course, I'm cold blooded....
