  • Pretty good deal to Vegas leaving Dec. 15 -18th from Toronto (direct flights with morning arrival and late departure). Very good package rate for a weekend. I priced Dec. 15 - 18th just now at $395 per person including all taxes. Staying at Circus Circus:

    Nobody should go there!

EDIT: Going to Circus Circus is like Fight Club. You don't talk about it!

That's a great price..and you make it for the superbowl to boot. Although hotel prices are pretty steep on the Sunday night.
  • I was wondering if anyone knows why prices for rooms are so high this Feb 3rd to 5th, Courious where all the action is going to be...

Dude sunwing is awful for flights, like what shitty times are those flights?

Besides stupid flight times, the taxes are ridiculous, pretty much stops any chance of going to vegas, I would love to go, but I might as well drive to Myrtle Beach for the same price for a holiday.

Don't know much about Sunwing but there are no shitty times for flights to or from Vegas... It's a 24 hr action city..

and you do realize that the taxes are high for any flights in or out of Toronto, no matter where you are going or what carrier? They gotta pay my sons salary. :)

HAHA, do you really want to arrive at 10:30 at night and lose basically your 1st day? Do you really want to fly all night to get back home? No thanks.

So fly in the morning, lots of flights all day and evening..
  • Ok wes I looked it up, good eyes, it looks like nonstop as well!:o, that flight is exactly awesome for flight times.

I was looking at sunwing like a week and a half ago for about the same date and it was gawd awful flight times and prices so that's what my above post was about.
  • My flight got changed and i was going to have to spend an extra 5 hours in toronto. So i called ac and because it was a schedule change on their part i was allowed to choose a better flight of my choice(had three options)

Phil consider getting a points collectiing cc to get your flights to vegas. I end up doing a bit of searching but i find the flights that are good for me.
I end up paying 150 for taxes for a return flight.

    Thanks. :)
  • Philli, why are you Philliing this thread?
  • Chumps pay for flights these days...went to California last year on points, and Japan and Florida already booked for 2012 on points. vegas is basically free due to westjet 350 credit for signing up to new mastercard. As stated, get a points credit card and flights add up pretty quick. Some basically give you enough points when you sign up for a free trip to any US destination.
  • Bump.

There appears to be interest in this subject today, and there's loads of info in this thread.
