There were 2 sattys that were played ( I didn't play) The 245$ and the 1050$ (not sure of the 1050 but there was a big list for that one which i thought was odd). I watched a bit of the 245$.
There was only one satty table and they played a new satty when the first satty ended. they could of opened at least one more table for sattys but they didn't...
I talked to the WPT Fallsview associate TD just before I was about to leave and unfortunately, there are currently not enough players to have a satellite today. I think it was Sunday last week that I got to buy into five satellites in a row.
My spies tell me that there are at least 15 tables running at Fallsview, including a couple of satellite tables and the finalist from the past two WPT Montreal.
I was also on my way to Mohawk today for the excellent $150+$10 Deep Stack, but I just found out that it's sold out. I was bringing an extra WPT Fallsview $275 super satellite entry card and offer a BAP to any of the decent players at Mohawk for a shot at $1.5 million, but I'll have to head to Fallsview instead and see if I can find a motel with a vacancy.
Nothing too spectacular, but I was pretty hungry when I arrived and registered about 1:10p.m. and ordered some fish and chips by 1:20.... at 1:48 I was saying "if I don't get it by 1:50, I'm gonna have to cancel it, and back out of the tourney because I can't play when I'm this hungry". Girl shows up just then, apologizes, offers me a desert as recompense. I say "I don't have time to even eat this! I'm in the 2:00 tourney" she says "Okay" and leaves... wow... I still may say something
I sit next to the one good player, on his left. The others are your standard chase and erase players - call any draw / any piece, pay you off, and then moan about bad luck. The good player at one point kinda mutters "straight" in one hand I was in, wasn't sure if he was trying to help me, but I didn't say anything - had nut flush anyways, and bet out, guy folded. When we collapsed though, the good player was short stacked after a bad beat, and raised something like 600 of his remaining 3100, and I look down at AA, I re-raise him all in, he looks and asks if I have AA (something similar happened earlier). I "pay back" his earlier advice and nod. He folds and I show. Very next hand he's UTG and raises all in.... I have KK. :P
As I said, we got three handed when a spewy fella bubbled (would have loved to see his stats, no exaggeration when I say he played 80% of hands). And, three people left, withing 2-3 BB of each other, we just chop it up even... fine by me, I was getting tired.
I hope they win lol toronto has such limitations in terms of sports success
Anyway in terms of casinos...theres a bellator fight at Rama this friday, managed to get a room last week for $99 instead of $499 lol and thursday night free also. Should be super packed for a fight night like this, hopefully lots of good 2/5 tables, it will probably be full. But if a 5/10 at Rama happens friday would be the night lol.
I got 2 tickets for the card, something like 10 or 11 fights on the card with 2 tournament finals for $100,000 for each winner. Havn't been to a live MMA fight in years so im so psyched for this. Hopefully win some parlays too. I do enjoy betting on MMA but tbh ill bet on anything

Props for being one of the rare winners willing to tip casino employees like JohnnieH. As I found out many times, supervisors and managers (higher than dealers) in Ontario cannot accept tips. One reason is the conflict of interest in making rulings if the person being ruled upon can give you money. In California, it is terrible that the supervisors are allowed to hustle for their tips and favourable rulings may be given to the many angle shooters who tip more.
Cashiers, janitors & other non-managerial staff can accept tips. After WPT CSC, my roommate and I stopped again at the best pit stop - OLG Thousand Islands Casino (may try to post full TR of this casino later) - but as we were leaving in his car, somebody suddenly knocked on the window with a flashlight! It was an OLG security officer and he started asking questions. We were thinking, "Holy Sh*t, what did we do wrong and are we going to need pkrfce9's Vaseline?"
It turned out that his questions revolved around an iPod Touch being found near the exit, and he walked out in the cold with his short-sleeved shirt to try to find the stooopid guy who dropped the iPod - me! I thanked him and took out my wallet, but not wanting any staff to get in trouble, I asked, "Are you allowed to accept this?" so now I know that security can accept tips.

I bust the bubble and we pay him out. Three people left each with stacks between 55 - 60 k and they are tight players
Math says an even three way chop is $510 each aka better than 2nd place money. This + I don't want to play another 2 hours = chop.

Nice job Sir.
No Bob - I was gonna buy him lunch too....

Tried to tip the floor guy, he said he can't accept it. I think that's a bit BS - is there reasoning behind this anyone knows?
Mark
Like the TD? Yeah he's a supervisor and can't take tips.
Give tips to the dealers directly.
EDIT: good job!
E-tables.. no dealer to
Mark
Oh right. My bad.
Stiff'em?
Send it to JohnnieH?
