Anyone tuning into politicians during election time must be gullible to believe anything said. I'd bet a crisp fiver that 90% of what is promised wont come into fruition. Empty promises from professional liars. The people that believe politicians during election season are the same folks that believe the stripper giving them a lap danse is a viable romantic interest.
Both the stripper and the politician are whoring themselves.
Both want a phat pay cheque with the least work possible. At least the hobo begging for spare change is honest with their intentions. They DGAF about society. Just want the benefits from society without contributing to it. Maybe walled city fortresses are in the future? If you are not contributing to the city then you get cast into exile. Out of the safety of the superstructure. civil society is digressing; union busting, wage stagnation, high unemployment, unaffordable groceries, sky rocketing rent, extraterrestrial alien residency, killer AI-bots, murderous autonomous drones, killer robo-doggo sentry bots, hookah twerking at Speakers Corner, they are gonna ill Jesus again and start WWIII (my opinion is starting a holywar gives the newcomers a bad rep), casual bullying, unchecked aggression from testosterone poisoning or maybe something is in the water?, neo-conservatives lynching flags, false prophets, politicians hosting pot parties (seminars with free beers and m.j.), lazer guided bullshit, space phasers causing earthquakes, weaponized autism, but all that really matters is the bottom line.
Corpo's gotta make that profit or the sun wont shine ?

I was being facetious. There are more practical ways of going about that sort of societal corrections. 17th century France is a great example of that. 
Now I'm not advocating violence only stating that it an inevitable outcome. Jeff Bozo has how much wealth accumulated?

Maybe after you "earn" a billion dollars. Society gives you a gold plaque stating; "you won #TheGame" but billionaires dont earn their money. That sort of wealth is acquired off of others' hard work... or by tricking tax payers to pay for Amazon corporate expansions. Which is only one example of many in recent years.

Why should tax payers have to pay for the expansion of a profitable international corporation?
It doesnt matter who is voted in "new boss same as the old boss" politicians do what's best for corporations. While screwing over hard working tax payers. If voting could change things then it would be illegal. Politicians job is to ensure things stay the same. While serving corporate interests and lobbying groups.
