the Pharaohs and the ones you posted are the house mold. There are other home sets that use the suits mold and then there are a couple of THC molds for casinos...
I have a set of Pharaohs from Apache. They are not Paulsons, they're China Clay. If you're looking for a cheap, decent set they're okay.
There are Paulson Pharaohs also which are more expensive but noticeably better.
Mixed set is definitely easiest in my opinion if you want a Paulson set.
Yes, I think I would try to go a mixed set route but it seems options are sorta scarce right now...would be hard finding all colours that work together.
Hmm
As for Pharoahs I like the designs and mold of the non denominational ones over the house mold...but I kinda would like the denomination lol
Damn, I really want to own a set of Paulsons...the prices are just silly now though and don't seem to be much available.
I've been looking at some fantasy sets and while very nice a couple of the chips seem off and dull...I thought a project over time to build a mix set, I just wish there was a gallery of all chips and colors that was easy to go through
There are still some Paulson chips available here and here I believe, and you probably can't find a better price than that for new Paulsons.

I have a rack of these and I really like them. They don't fit with any sets that I have right now though so they haven't been used. They tend to be a little cheaper than most because, like I said, some people don't like the mold as much as THC (top hat and cane).
The WTHC are amazingly beautiful imo, but they can be pretty expensive for sure. The entire poker chip market right now is pretty nuts. The prices people pay, like $10+ per chip for some, is just crazy.
If you are possibly looking for something not too expensive, there are these hybrid chips available. I don't own any, but I have heard good things about them as a lower end poker chips that is still a step up from china clays.
And if you are okay with RHC (reverse hat and cane) instead of THC, I'm pretty sure these are still available from the chip exchange at a decent price.

Those A- mold hot stamps are awesome....as are the Cincinnati solids. Nice collection!
Thanks. The Atlantic Club chips are from Classic Poker Chips (one of their stock designs). They're not Paulsons, but I wanted a hotstamp set and I really liked those. The Cincinnati chips are 36mm which are just a little smaller than the average size chip, but I loved the colors and bought them anyway. I don't host a ton of tournaments but once I got addicted it was hard to not keep buying sets lol. I think two tournament sets will be my max, but there's always a good chance I'll buy more cash sets. I have a few random racks sitting around that I wouldn't mind making into other sets eventually once I find some nice chips that match.

I am familiar with Classic Poker chips....I have a custom set of solids from them. They have made some amazing chips.
The le coves are beautiful, if not similar to the Pharaoh's in colour. I'd love an absolute mammoth set of Paulson PNY only the high denoms. or a mint set of these:

I think those are an amazing colour of blue
Those are my favorite color of blue chips, which is probably why I love the pharaoh chips. I'm not a fan of the CDI inlay, and conversely the pharaoh inlay's fantastic. I have a bunch of the quarters as well as the ncv blue's to use as T5k's for tournaments.

The Paulson Pharaohs were the first chips I fell in love with. I bought the CCs from Apache as my first set. After watching chanman score them all I figured I'd never get a chance to own a playable set of the Paulsons

I like just the regular WTHC set but the green chip is dull...
*Sigh*

I personally really like these chips but some people don't like the mold on them.
I mean, I don't mind spending but I've seen some of these sets go for well north of 5k USD... It isn't like I'm running a rounders club.
I've felt the PAULSON mold and it seems ok, I'd probably like to feel the others.
The World Top Hat and Canes look beautiful except for that 25...jeez

Wow that seems like a great resource...but kinda tricky to navigate when I looked at mold they didn't have just say top hat
I think those are an amazing colour of blue
Yeah, you have to know the type of mold, but it's not too bad. Paulsons hat and cane mold are all the ones listed under H&C.
Hmm trying but still having trouble navigating it on mobile.
Wonder how many sets @moose has I'm curious
There was a pic somewhere on this forum of all his sets out on his table. He has tons of chips for sure.
Have a look at the first page of this thread, isn't that what you were thinking of?
