Bristol St. presents -- "Jour de Poker 4" Sat. July 29th - 2pm (Waterloo)

Here's a little love for the out of towners!
The Bristol Street Nightclub and Casino presents...

:s: :h: JOUR de POKER 4 :d: :c:
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament
Saturday, July 29th - 2:00pm
(doors open at 1:30pm)

$40 Buy-in Freeze-out - 56 Players max!!

Timeline
1:30pm - Doors open
2:00pm - SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL
5-6pmish - 1 hour break for dinner
??:?? - The game ends!

$$$ Pay-out $$$
1st - 45%
2nd - 25%
3rd - 15%
4th - 10%
5th - 5%
(based on ~32 players)
Each player will receive 10,000 chips for their $40 buyin. You are eliminated from the tourney when you lose all your chips. The tourney will not stop, except for short breaks, until one player holds all the chips. That player will be declared the 1st place finisher. The last player eliminated will be the 2nd place finisher, the second last player eliminated will be the 3rd place finisher, etc..

Late players: If you know you're going to be late, please phone and a seat and chips will be set out for you and you will post blinds and fold until you arrive. Players that are late that haven't let me know will give up their seat to the next player on the waiting list. If there's no one left on the waiting list, late players may buy into the tournament during the first level (20 minutes), but must immediately post the big and small blind if the blinds have passed them.

Waiting List players: Being that we're running up to 56 players, I'm not anticipating a waiting list.

The tournament will last approximately 10-12 hours. Seating is limited to 56 players with alternates. (8 max tables) Please reserve your seat in advance!! The final table will form with 9 players left.

Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted below. NOTE - If we get above 32 players I'll need a little extra help with more chairs, chips, etc.

As players bust out, tables will be open for side games, etc. Feel free to play some of your "Heads-Up" matches during the day.

This tournament IS for Player of the Year points. Current points standings can be found in this thread.

As always, tournaments at Bristol Street are rake-free

The current plan to accomidate three extra tables are... 2 in the garage (one can extend outside a bit as I have a tent to cover it up) and 1 in the furnance room (which I need to clean out anyway)

Ovisously, Rob is a cut-and-paste junkie.

  • Hey! A Bristol St event I can participate in!

Sign up me and BigChrisEl :)
  • As Shannon pointed out, previous buy-ins for Jour de Poker have been $40. Any mind if we go up to this buy-in? Seems a better number for a full day of poker.
  • I personally prefer $30, :fish: but I will still gladly go if the majority votes for the $40 buy-in.

  • count me in Eddy "The Smurf"
  • hey, check your PM.. count me in

    Thanks,

  • The Rocks are fine with either 30 or 40 or 60 for that matter. We're in it for the great competition not the financial renumeration...
  • $40.00 is well worth it to run into the Rocks again.

I want to see who stands up and says its not worth the extra 10.00 to play at Rob's...
