Should be drawn today. I figure they'll contact everyone by Monday latest.
  • I would suggest that people show up even if they don't receive an invite, as they'll probably have spots from people who do get invites but don't actually show up. How many chips do people think you'll need at the end of day 1 to survive until day 2. And for that matter, when is day 2?

All the draws are finished - June 1st was the last drawing.

roketinpoket - for East day 2 is the 21st.
And For round 2 they start you fresh with chips..so you dont need to work on having a chip lead to save for day 2 - it starts over fresh.

As far as I know they also held back 100 spots for walkups - and another 100 for promotions offsite and onsite.
So yeah - walkups have a chance.
Just dont get there super early and butt in front of the line of people who already have legitimate seats :) Let them register first then get your free one.

2 hours for registering 250 people per round. ..
    i can see it now..

...feet shuffle shuffle..........feet shuffle shuffle....gaze longingly at the blackjack tables...sigh...shuffle forward...

    -cough-
sorry. havent played bj in ages. i miss it.
  • Well I am out of this one, however, I am entering the WSOP draw on the site. You can do it once a day.
  • I got some more information emailed to me from River Rock today:

    - you have to register at least 2 hours before your session, but can register as early as Tuesday.

    - River Rock is hosting a reception on Thursday evening, with poker lessons, a six-player tournament, and poker trivia.

    - For the first round tournament, you start with 2000 in chips, and each level is 30 minutes:

    Round 1, blinds 25-50
    Round 2, blinds 50-100
    Round 3, blinds 100-200, ante 25
    (Break)
    Round 4, blinds 200-400, ante 50
    Round 5, blinds 400-800, ante 75
    Round 6, blinds 500-1000, ante 100
    (Break)
    Round 7, blinds 1000-2000, ante 200
    Round 8, blinds 2000-4000, ante 300

... which is actually a lot more forgiving than I figured it'd be, there's some room to maneuver in the first hour or so. Gets tough after that.

Round 2, you start with 10000 in chips, looks like the same blind structure, levels beyond 8 at management's discretion. Both rounds, all you have to do is make the top 20 to advance.
