I wish they spread this out over more days. I would like to buy the super satellites for 2500 and 5k but the way they cram everything together if you run deep like Mathers did last year you could be shit out of luck for the super satellite.
A bunch of my friends want to play the 1k and my regular travel buddies want to play the 5k and I think the best value is the 2500.
i am going to Niagara this Saturday afternoon and will at least buy the 1k day 1b and the 5k super satellite. I don’t think the 2500 has ever sold out so maybe just buy in if I don’t make day 2 of the 1k.
Lets get some form people out for at least 1 tourney

You are 100% correct.
This is is a Fallsview problem not a WPT problem. Fallsview, the worst run casino in North America only runs only 4 events but if you look at the WPT schedules at the 3 stops before Fallsview these other casinos run 23,23 and 24 events.
It is a joke, Fallsview has the worst management of any casino I have ever been to.
Did you know that they have been running a promotion where they have been giving away $50 dinner vouchers every couple hours on the weekends in the poker room ?? Nope, How would anyone know. A lady comes quietly down to the poker room and goes directly to the person who’s seat has been drawn and she very quietly gives the person the voucher. How about some loud music over the whole poker room and then an excited announcement that the winner of the promo is in seat 6 table 14 and make a big fuss about it. At least try something to bring some excitement into the room.

Where did you hear that? Confirmed? I can see nothing online about it. I know with the sale that they will be renovating extensively so I assume it's to do with that?
P.S. I agree with you that Fallsview/Niagara sucks donkey dicks but what can you do with little other reasonable choice...
Also I bet those dinner draws (which I didn't know about either) are fixed and automatically go to regs/friends.. Wouldn't expect anything different.

You can can do it with your credit card. They charge you 2% and you have to send them back a picture or a faxed copy of a form (that they send you) back to them.
it is really simple. I am going to play day 1B. Try and get do the same one and whoever is there we can all go grab dinner together.

$1,100 event: 10,000 chips
$2,500 event: 20,000 chips
$5,000 event. 30,000 chips
Blind levels for all tournaments will be as follows:
Duration of 40 minutes for levels 1 - 9
Duration of 60 minutes for all remaining levels Duration of 30 minutes for the nal 2 participants

I ask to speak to someone else. Next person tells me that I can only buy in at Fallsview at the main cage for the tournament. I mention that there are no poker tables at Fallsview so wouldn’t it make sense to sell the tickets where people are playing poker ? She hangs up the phone.

he informs me that as stupid as it seems that you can not buy in at Niagara and if I wanted to play poker and buy in I have to go to both casinos.
Does this seem customer friendly ? They are soooooo lucky they have us by the nuts because if I had any decent options I would not give them any more business.

we are still stupid enough to go there tonight. Should be leaving Mississauga by 6pm. Will probably just buy the tickets over the phone with the credit card .
Got killed for 4K. Lost a monster all in pre with aces idiot shoved on me preflop after i 4 bet a pot..... he flips his pocket 77 over and says he thought I would fold to his shove. He had around 5k and i 4 bet from 185 up to 615 and he shoved..... obviously hits his 7 and stacks me.

Only won 1 all in . I was in the big blind and there were 5 callers I had Q8. Flop was Q82hss. I bet out and got re-raised . Turn is Qs and I bet around half pot and guy shoves. He had AKss I got a double up.
Any idea if the $2500 is expected to sell out? I was planning to arrive the morning of day 1 (Feb 8) and buyin. Could always reg by phone but would prefer not to pay the 2% CC fee unless risk of showing up and being an alternate which would suck.

I would think so. You get the refund if you win multiple entries to the same event, so I can't imagine they'd change the overlap rules.
My buddy went today and got the 3 important ones. The 1k and 2 super satellites. The cage at Niagara is now apparently selling them too and because they are being sold at both casinos they have no idea how many are left.
I would not wait if you wanted to play the 1k or super satellites.
I am am going for a quick session this Friday at noon and I can post up .... but Friday may be too late since we are only 2 weeks away as of today.
