My predictions is a Lakers/Pistons finals,, but the Laker will beat them easily.

i'd say Lakers over Pistons in 5 or 6 :D

now all they have to do...is get there

    they'd better
  • Wow, I'm surprised that the TWolves took tonight's game without Cassell. Good job, but I don't see them winning in LA next game...
  • I always thought the Lakers would take it in 6...wished they did it last night though. :(
  • Go Pistons!!
  • i'm still going with Lakers and Pistons...

Cassell is sitting out game 6...can u say GAME OVER!

    LMAO
  • The Lakers are down by 2 in the 3rd...I pray they can end this series tonight. Pulling out game 7 in Minny with that much momentum would be a very difficult task. :?

  • :lol::lol::lol:

Very true words. Kobe could be gone after this year, but they might get McGrady. Could you imagine if they had their line up now PLUS TMac
  • Congrats to the 2004 Champs, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kareem Rush really stepped it up when everyone was in foul trouble.
  • w00t!

The Lakers are sitting in great position now too. The extra rest will certainly help their "aging" players...ohh and Shaq's big toe lol

    w00t w00t

    now awaiting DETROIT
  • I believe that Detriot is too young and inexperienced to beat the Lakers in a 7 game series. I really hope the Lakers win their 4th championship in 5 years... 8)

actually i think Detroit will make LA work for their 4th NBA title and make the mailman sweat a litte

Lakers stand a better chance sweeping the Pacers than Pistons

so who will it be? INDY or DET?

    tonite BAY-BEE
  • Lakers in 5.

    Lakers in 6
  • Detroit sure looks like they could take it
  • Looks like the Lakers underestimated their opponents. Man Kobe and Shaq accounted for 80% of their total points last night. We are going to need much more help if they have any shot of winning.
  • Great game by the Pistons the other night. If they keep playing like that they could very well take the crown.

Agreed. If they win the next game its pretty much over as in the Finals the layout will give game 3, 4, and 5 all in Detroit. The Lakers will win the next game though.

    yeah...just noticed it's a 2-3-2 format :o

    and not 2-2-1-1-1

  • Yeah, I have no idea why they change it for the finals. It seems to make the it more even, not really giving home court advantage... :?

the format seems to favor Detroit more :o

if Det wins tonite...then they play 3 games at home

could lead to Pistions winning it in 4 or 5

  • Malone and Payton need to have big games tonight. I don't know what happen to Payton this playoffs. I have heard his name mentioned once!! :?

malone scored his first basket after 31 minutes of play LOL
payton had 4 personal fouls going into the 3rd or 4th

it was all Shaq n Kobe...probably will be the case tonite

    Doh
  • As I stated eariler, the Lakers are going to need a better performance from their supporting cast if they are going to get back into this series.
  • It's a pretty close game right now, Pistons are down by 2 in the middle of the fourth.
  • Sick shot by Kobe to send it into OT. I have a feeling that the Lakers will crush the Pistons like a grape in OT.
  • Kobe is the man! I believe that the Lakers will win in OT.
