RIP - Tony Gwynn - One of my favourite players as a kid.
Tony Gwynn Sr. -- one of Major League Baseball's greatest hitters -- died today after battling cancer for several years.
Gwynn played 19-years for the San Diego Padres and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. He was known for his tremendous batting skills. He had a .338 career batting average and 3,141 hits.

Gwynn played 19-years for the San Diego Padres and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. He was known for his tremendous batting skills. He had a .338 career batting average and 3,141 hits.
But he played 20 years for the SDP. He was inducted into the HOF alongside Cal Ripken, who played 21 years for the Orioles.
Does anyone play their entire career for one team anymore?
