FAIL.... That was the aborted Lightening Poker tables and it was late 2006 I believe... I played on the Pokertek tables at their approx 1 year run at the Excalibur (mid 2008-2009) a few times including their 40 player morning tourney and found them quite smooth and easy to handle. The advantage to me was more newbies playing because there was less of an intimidation factor so therefore more easy money...
Please give reasons for lamesauce comments or stfu...>:D

It's like 20 min from N Oakville, 10 min from me..
  • I don't know about Mohawk but for Georgian Downs received the following:

"working towards a go live date of June 29th"
  • Sweet. I'm looking forward to giving the tables a go!

You need reasons for electronic poker tables being lame? For realz?
  • its disgraceful that the govt has arbitrarily ended the slots at racetracks program, effectively endangering the horse racing industry, while Dwight Duncan, the liar that he is, trying to justify the move by painting race track owners as high flying rich dudes, but yet will allow these poker tables to be installed at various tracks...so frigging hypocritical...horrid politicians......i know im bitching on a poker web site, but i just had to vent.....
  • Quick show of hands, who was happy that your tax dollars were propping up the horse racing industry?

Don't politicians know that they are supposed to steal from the poor and give to the rich?

Mike harris, realizing that public opinion was against casinos, he needed revenue, so he approached racetracks and said , here,s the deal...you fix up the infrastucture of your racetracks and we will install slots..you guys get 20% to be devided up between you owners, the horseman,s purse account and the municpalities who host the tracks,,,,so it was a partnership , not a subsidy....so when you say idiot things like you just did.. i assume your handle on this site reflects your intellectual capacity.....oh and im pretty sure your the kind that limps into a pot with a weak ace.or calls a raise out of position.with 6 bb and then check folds....

    useless without graphs
  • Partnership . . . subsidy . . . po-tay-to, po-tah-to. Nothing lasts for ever, especially government money. If the horsey set cannot make it on their own, should we help them along indefinitely? Where was the bail-out for the buggy-whip industry?
