I added a US data plan for my iPhone, so I will be doing the same under @JohnnnieJH. Note the extra 'n'
I had the AT&T pre-paid plan last time I was there. Phone/text didn't work when I tried to contact you guys, but it was about $25 for 500mb of data or something. It was plenty for my Blackberry but since you have an iPhone I'm not sure if that's enough.
Our flight out was fine even though our group was almost at the back of the plane. After waiting for 30 (at least) for the luggage and running our pre-check in errands we finally got to Bally's around 2:30pm.
As most of you know by now, Mario bailed out of the trip for family reasons. I was hoping that this wouldn't effect our comped rooms, as Beanie immediately signed up for a TR card. Alas, they didn't honour the rooms but we still scored the rooms for $40/n. No worried there. We were upgraded to the North Tower after I executed the $20 trick also. The room is very nice and faces north, so we are away from the noise of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains.
While we donked around at 3/6 FL table for a few minutes, I dropped $33 but did get 2 beers into me Seekthegrail Steve and the Mrs hooked up with us and it was off to Ellis Island for dinner. There we met up with a very nice gentleman from Florida who is a reg on Chiptalk. His name is Mark, but I don't remember his CT handle. We had to wait for 45 minutes which gave us plenty of time to chat about chips and Vegas. Once again EI did not disappoint. Fabulous chicken and ribs BBQ and on site brewed beers. Apparently they make there own root beer which Beanie ordered (he doesn't drink) and it was also fabulous.
After dinner, I sank to a new all time low by heading to bed at 6:30pm. I'm sure Moose will fill us on on what happened Monday night.
Since I was up at 2:30am I had a shower and went down to the poker room, hoping to cash in on some bad players. I was witness to the worst play I have ever seen. 5 players (not me) see a limped flop of all diamonds, which is checked to the river bringing 2 more diamonds. Player to my right announces 'I have a diamond flush and checks. Next player insta jams $300 into the pot of $13. Folded to loud mouth who hums over what to do. He has about $150 behind and asked the dealer what happens now. He is told that all his chips are at risk now, it's call or fold. He sighs and shows a 7d then puts his chips in. The raisers tables K9d for the nuts! Talk about getting a Christmas present! Dammit! Why can't I get into hands like that!
My cards were pretty cold, only won one hand when I flopped the nut straight only to chop with another flopped nut straight. My last hand I was able to get my money in pre with KK only to lose to a set of fours on the river. I seem to have zero luck at this casino, but I'm not worried. It's still early and there are plenty of fish in the sea.
So now it's 5:30am and I'm typing up this report while I wait for the rest of the crew to awaken for breakfast. I may check our an MTT somewhere to get my #rungood going.
The rest of Tuesday went pretty well for me. We had our traditional #rungood breakfast at Terrible's Casino then played 3/6FL at Flamingo during their cracked aces promo. Didn't get aces at all and finished down $80. Boo.
Next we decided to work on our Bucket List and drive out to Red Rock Casino. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest it. Beautiful casino and the poker room is awesome. The service was OUTSTANDING! MrsMoose and I played 4/8FL while Moose and Beanie played 4/8 FL Omaha Hi-Lo My #rungood was flowing and I cashed out up $151! Pretty good. On the way out I used my comps for a free Starbucks . More #rungood! Next we headed to IP and went to Hash House for dinner. I had the chicken eggs benedict. Amazing, although I only ate about half of it as it was absurdly huge.
By now it was 9:30pm and I had been up for almost 20 hours so I headed to bed. Not sure what shenanigans the others got into, although Trevor return led to the room around midnight I believe.

That's it so far from Vegas.
Pretty sure we're going to PH for the Brazilian steakhouse tomorrow.

Keep up the trip report Johnnie! Vicarious living going on here!
I hope there's something left in the fridge.
