  • fml, i read the payouts worng - if i had known we were playing for DAT MUCH...
  • I went to fallsview last night, took a look around the poker room and didn't see much going on so we went to the buffet (which was poo) and than headed over to the old casino. Signed up at the front and they said "1 hour wait" so OK thats fine I am a craps degen anyways haha I shoot some dice for a while and leave up about $80 go back to the front desk(1.5 hours later) and my name has barely moved they tell me its now a 2hour wait from where I am. So I left, bastards. :D

    Minimum $5-$5 NLHE
    Two $10-$25 NLHE tables
    One $25-$50 NLHE table
    One $5-$5 PLO table
    HUGE lists!!

    Not much going on....

I think the moral of the story 13cards is only 5 tables were running:confused: hence huge waiting lists.

If only 5 tables, then on a Saturday night that is not right, go to rama and the room is packed with 99% tables in action.

Not trying to argue as I enjoy your updates 13cards, just saying...........

sorry sir didn't mean it like that haha I meant it as it wasn't overly crowded like I thought it was going to be.

and yea I love the buffet for the dessert but other than that it wasnt anything special IMO

EDIT: Not only that but we were supposed to goto The Keg but it had a 2 hour wait, so I was a little dissapointed

The Keg should open more table when there is a 2 hour wait list.

especially if they have unoccupied ones in the dining room..

Also lower prices, but don't worry the blackjack tables are the same;)

I went last night also. My name was 150th on the list. I broke even by not getting on a table.
Me and my friends partied in the bar next to the poker room.
The band was hot! Site Builder

    We had a great time!
  • Anybody know who won, or did good in this?

There were only 5 tables running for a while but by around 5pm all tables were running and the lists were massive. I was fortunate to get on a 5/10 table around noon and enjoy some of the mad pokering going on. Good times... good times.

Well he outlasted 66% of the field at least. Did he enjoy the tournament/have a good time at least?
  • Final Table of the 2.5K was heads up FOREVER... G. Smith took it fown at 7:15am Tuesday, just in time to nap and shower and get ready for the 5K at noon!!!

Wow, that is nuts. Can't believe Gavin won. Who did he play HU and how much was first? Did it fill up?

He said he had a great time. Got all the cards early but nothing later....no bad beats. Just blinded out.

    What is the question?

    What is the question?

I think the question is who determined the %'s.

Is it industry standard (I really dont know)?

Just by looking at it it is SUPER top heavy. Personally (not that it mattered) I would have liked to see a much flatter final table payout. Like 20-22% ish for first.
  • Was reading on 2+2 I think that the mgr was bragging about his industry leading edge payout and tourney schedule. I love the 10% payout, and I do like top heavy, maybe not that top heavy but at least 20%
  • Bubbled the 5k 20th aipf AA vs AQ......awesome!

How many entered the 5k and what were the payouts?
  • AK-Frosty wrote: »

Off the top of my head - 155 entrants - 18 through 10th made 10,800 and then it went up steeply to first of about 270k....
