Why do people on TV become stoopid/crazy? I have always been afraid of mass quantities of money. So much so that I have avoided it all my life. I would, however, get past this fear if it meant:
a) not disappointing my spouse.
b) not looking like a total douchebag on national TV.
c) winning a competition of some sort.
No Brian and Ericka are the stupidest ever. I mean the Harlem guys were SO dumb they couldn't even read a watch but at least had the brains to ask the guy for a calculator. At least the poker players whipped out of the gold exchange in a few minutes.

Actually it was a pretty unfair finish. Both choices required something so physical they were unable to do it. As the only all girl team they were at a big disadvantage. I have to give them credit for continuing to try and try and try and try. I have to laugh at them because they were so pathetic but still if it was something I obviously couldn't physically do I would have quit long ago.
My dumbest team ever came through again. Let's see, Ericka counts the bells twice and comes up with the same wrong number twice and yet still asks the guy, as if he was going to change his mind. Then they don't read the instructions and walk to the next challenge in wooden clogs instead of riding bicycles. Wow. Dumber than a bag of hammers these two. I hope they don't have children.

ya i am cheering for that girl guy team that had like 3 1sts in a row i believe, but in the preview they show her freaking out next week, dam, i was gonna say if they can keep it together they have a good chance.
Haha, ive been watching Amazing Race since the first season. I do have to admit watching Tiffany Michelle is quiet entertaining, there the ass-clowns that make the season somewhat worth watching. Than again I watch every reality show possible.
I've avoided this thread 'til now because I have never been caught up and always end up watching the current episode a good 4-5 days late.
Anyways, to be honest, I didn't find Tiffany Michelle at that annoying/hatable in this show as oppose to the image that she gave off from WSOP 2008. It was clear while she was definitely the physically stronger of the pair, it was a matter of time before a road block/detour will lead to their elimination (and by no fault of their own). The Amazing Race have always had physically demanding challenges, which obviously has always favours the male competitors(not being sexist). So far, up until the latest leg, none of the challenges presented were particularly physically demanding, thus allowing them to remain in the race, and of course the girls hitting a couple of 1 (or 2) outers to stay off elimination from earlier legs also helped. It was simply a matter of time (in my opinion anyways) before a challenge will prove to be too much for them where they won't be able to overcome.
Now..can someone please tell me why I even considered rooting for Brian/Ericka?

Ill lay 3/1 saying that guy cant read.
Nobody is that dumb. You have 3 hours (+4 for the penalty if not taken) to figure out a 5 letter word. AND you know what the first letter is.
Clearly they deserved to win. I don't know how they managed to count the poker chips by far the fastest. It wasn't clear why the others were slower and/or their method was so much faster. But lol at Brian and Ericka, the dumbest people on the planet not being able to count to 1 million.
Just overall they were the nicest team and never resorted to dirty play in order to win. Didn't argue much either. It was a pretty much enjoyable season although there wasn't much in terms of using brains to outsmart opponents by the choice of task or finding a better way to get to the waypoints. It was a lot of - quick get a taxi, followed by the next team - hey follow that taxi and we'll pay you a lot of money to go faster. Also annoying to see people race like mad to finish first and get a time advantage on the next leg only to have every team waiting 6 hours for their plane to leave. If anything the fastest teams were constantly getting screwed by having to start at stupid times like 2 am, race to the airport only to find the next plane doesn't leave until 10 am. WTF? The slow teams must have been laughing their asses off time after time because they got to sleep in.
