What do you guys think of the new Smackdown theme?
Why was it like the same ending(kane-taker) as the previous week? Don't get me wrong the whole show was not terrible but they did the same stuff as the previous week.
Only interested in the daniel bryan title defense - all the other matches (only 4 of them?) can fuck off.
I hate the match-themed ppv's where no blood is allowed and there is no heat behind the matches so you know you're getting the most homogonized event since vanilla ice had a cow milking competition with donny osmond.
Without going into too much if some peeps taped last night and have not seen it yet.
1) too soon, but I had a feeling the betrayal was going to happen.
2) wwe has balls for the what looks like a heel turn.
I am looking forward to raw tonight!, what they have to say on right after wrestling tomorrow if I am not working(I hope the show's episodes are on the score website .) and smackdown.
WOW, what a high emotion right after wrestling, the hyper guy even swore on live t.v.:o.
Maybe a job opening for that spot now, lol:laugh:.
But he had a point, last night's raw sucked ****.
You'll have to be more specific, as in names, as I have only watched it a couple of times. There's Arda Ocal, who helps out with Maximum Pro Wrestling in addition to the R.A.W. shows, and Mauro Ranallo, who is their MMA expert that also knows his shit for wrestling. Which one was the hyper swearing guy?
And quite frankly, Raw wasn't that bad. They're still not anywhere near what they were, but I enjoyed more than I didn't. Also, for having booked themselves into a corner by making Cena part of Nexus but needing to come up with a reason he just couldn't keep beating them up anyways, they did what they could to come up with a reason. Are they grasping at straws with that reason? Absolutely. Is it somewhat convoluted? No question. But they're trying to become more cohesive with the stories and come up with explanations. Hopefully they continue and it actually gets better over time.
Yea.. they've been there before, and are appearing again...
Great pickup for ROH, and quite frankly, they'll probably be happier / more successful there since WWE won't get behind them since they're smaller guys, and TNA won't because they're not 108 years old.
I like ROH, and IIRC, there's a bit match coming up from ROH in TO soon, I think Cerebus mentioned it to me.
Just wanted to say that Raw the other night was one of the best in some time - Morrison / Kidd was fantastic, and Daniels / Shaemus made both guys look really strong.
Fresh matches, progressed storylines, and even the Cena / Nexus stuff had a nice simmering buildup
I was on your wavelength, although a lot of my locals here disagreed. It was a Smackdown style Raw show: a lot of wrestling, that advanced storylines/made sense, with a little funny stuff thrown in for the hell of it.
Only watched last night here and there, was watching the election results but will watch the replay today, but all I can say is please have c.m. punk do more commentary!:)
Surprisingly not a terrible PPV from the match standpoint (of course, the entire fact that it's just a commercial for the video game makes me sick). But god DAMN is that Daniel Bryan fucking magic in the ring.
BTW... have I mentioned lately that Bryan Danielson is fucking MAGIC in that ring? Three very solid matches with Dolph Ziggler.... the PPV match at Bragging Rights was probably one of the year's best from a straight up in-ring work POV.
I'm just surprised he doesn't get the love he deserves in this thread! Hell, on RAW the fans were going pretty batshit crazy for him! A Daniel Bryan chant for a guy that has been on the mic to develop his character approximately 0% of the time?
He gets mic time, and he does what he should with it: pokes fun at not being as charasmatic as other people, then saying he's going to fuck someone up. Good for him.
And I'm BEGGING them to get Punk's hip fixed so we can get a massive, long build to Punk vs. Bryan.
Don't get me wrong, him and del Rio are the class of the new guys in the stable of WWE talent. But they do not exactly have a good track record of utilizing their "skill" guys, do they?

I've tuned in a handful of times over the last few weeks and the one thing that drew me in the most was Bryan Danielson (aka Daniel Bryan or w/e). I have to agree that I'm impressed as hell with his skills and his "i don't have a schtick, schtick".
Last night did nothing for me, usually in England (by the way negmike is over there this week playing poker with some of our u.k. poker friends) it is a pretty good show, but last night was meh.
Next week is 3 hours of old wrestlers from the 80's raw.

Is the ppv tonight? If so anyone watching it?

I just saw that Sheldon Benjamin and Charlie Haas are with(or appearing) at ring of honor.
I did not read the article, I just saw the headline on the wrestling site I visit.

Sounds like the undertaker is going to lose as he needs time off to heal injuries.

December 27th raw, STONE COLD, STONE COLD! (guest host)
Party at Mark's house if this is gonna happen;)
(It's no doubt a cancel or not going to happen thing again, but there is hope right now!)
Also Chris Jericho rumblings he will be back about this time as well, but that's already going back and forth to yes/no.
I think you need to recheck your sources Philli. Just because someone types it doesn't make it true
SCSA said it on Howard Stern...
Mark
Everybody is already denying the stone cold rumours, lololololol.
Don't worry, we can still have a wrestlemania party at Mark's house!:p
