Another not too bad of a raw, I actually enjoyed a Cena promo, Wendy girl hahahaha and the crowd starts chanting Wendy, rofl.
The crowd was pretty good, maybe enough energy for the 2nd taping who knows.
I liked how they did the nexus vs wwe one on one matches angle to keep you tuned in.
They reeeeeeeeaaaaally need to get rid of that gm angle, I say the 900th episode would be good to do that. After last night i say it is Vince,HHH, Shawn Micheal's.
Enjoyed the matches, but would have changed it up a bit. Would have put Sheffield vs Bret, showing that they're completely heartless. Then, when they pull the switch with Orton, you've got someone who can take a beating from Orton but also give it back to him. Maybe that's just me.
GM angle will probably end on the 900th Raw or it'll end around Survivor Series. Here's hoping for 900.
What did you guys think of the new tag belts? I liked them. Look more like old school Japanese titles, which I've always been a mark for.
So right after wrestling on the score was bang on again, Kane and mysterio to start smackdown I am like uh oh starting the show off with that, does that mean the rest of the show is gonna suck.
You can tell that was serena's last night, she defo looked like she had no enthusiasm, like taking her time to get to the ring and she was the only one without her hand up, but there you go Cerb a opening on the roster for you:p.
What the hell was with that hornswaggle promo, that was god awful, and the ending of smackdown was horrid as well with Kane and Undertaker.
I am the big fan of Undertaker but his time has come to retire.
So there is rumblings that some "past" superstars are coming to the 900th episode of raw, but no names have been released yet, prob not gonna be much wrestling but meh still looking forward to it.
I don't know. It was was an ok Raw. I enjoyed it but there weren't any surprises or cameos from years gone bye, so that bugged me. I loved Punk's line at the end of the promo "you're not funny, you're fat and no one likes you".
Is Vince hospitalized? Has he been usurped? First they bring back Daniel Bryan, and give him a decent push at SummerSlam, and now the latest rumors are that they're going to unify ALL the titles within the year?
It's almost like, they're trying to... what's the phrase... give us what we WANT?!?!?!
That's the first I'm hearing about unifying all the titles, but it sure seems possible the way things have been going. Now, does that mean the brand split is over or are they going to do what they were planning originally many many years ago with the Invasion angle: World Title on one show, IC Title on the other?
Keep the split - it allows a great diversity of faces on TV, and also makes the schedule easier on the talent.. BUT
The champs may have to go on both shows, maybe not every show, but they cross over. Then, if you want to switch a guy from one to another, you don't have to do any BS draft or contract negotiations - if you have a belt, you are to defend it to either brand's roster... once you lose it, you fill the spot that has been vacated by the new champ.
Actually, I think last night was one of the better booked nights they've had. Only one that I was somewhat meh about was the Hart Dynasty dropping the titles. Unless they're going to gives Cody and Drew a team name, I'm not a fan of individuals winning tag titles.

Ya that's what I meant, Cody and Drew tag champs is .
I mean, look, gets put into the top heel stable on premiere show. Then, a notable tag team, then pushed as a singles guy when moved to the other brand, and now... back to tag teams? Uh oh...
As for last night's PPV, not a great show, but not the worst I've seen. Was surprised (and yet still apathetic) that Kane went over Taker. I jinxed myself before the show because I told the people I was with "Oh man, it's so nice to have a PPV without Mark Henry!!" Then the fucking kool-aid man himself shows up . Six pack was alright, but I'm stunned and saddened to see Y2J gone again - I wanted my chance to once more be a Jericholic, to hear that RAW IS JERICHO! I wanted him to turn face again so badly.
But of course, the match that held my most interest was Miz vs. The American Dragon, Bryan Danielson (I can't call him Daniel Bryan). This match was EXACTLY what it needed to be. Both guys got the offense in, both looked good, and the result was exactly what it should have been. I have to say though, two angles that could have happened would have made me happy
A: Miz loses it on Danielson, attacking him after the match with a chair / suitcase / etc. laying out an insane beatdown. Then, he cashes in the money in the bank for the US title back (remember, the contract is for any title shot).
B: Miz jumps RandOr after his six pack win, and lays him out, cashing in the MITB.
Not a fan of Orton winning the title last night. I know they're leading to HIAC Orton vs. Sheamus, but why not have Orton win there instead? Let Sheamus get one fucking clean win for once.
Ok, I think we're going to have to change around some picks in the Dead Pool II, because it's looking more and more like Matt is the Hardy who'll kick the bucket first, not Jeff. Wow is he a mess.

They are doing another double taping so look for next week's raw to be on the dull side like last time, i.e. crowd worn out/no reaction etc etc.
The crowd was pretty good, maybe enough energy for the 2nd taping who knows.

I say around 7/10 last night.

Undertaker returns to smackdown tonight for the 1 billionth time:p.
But Monday is 900 episodes baby!

Have you seen the new WWE Diva that's coming up through developmental?
Mark
yup seen it yesterday, yikes!
Do you think Paul Bearer is going to come back to help undertaker regain his powers?
If not just bring Paul Bearer back, can never get tired of that character.:)
But that was a interesting twist Kane having the lights out power, really don't get the whole nexus part of it.
Do I sense a Big Show v. Khali program for the giantess' affections?
Is Vince hospitalized? Has he been usurped? First they bring back Daniel Bryan, and give him a decent push at SummerSlam, and now the latest rumors are that they're going to unify ALL the titles within the year?

Has to be . . . why else has he been under wraps all these months?
No way Stephanie could be THAT good in the sack, could she?

Some of the booking last night was odd...........

Brian Danielson is a WWE Title holder! All is good!
Mark
bump to the bolded part, yes I am a wwe writer;).
It appears undertaker days are coming to a end and they wanted to have Paul Bearer back by his side to end his career which makes me very happy.
Peewee Herman is hosting a upcoming raw, hahahahahahahaha or yikes!
Be afraid, Hornswoggle, be veerrrrrrrrrryy afraid . . .
and yes, I know he's a Smackdown bit, but just roll with it, okay?
