5K in 3 hours over mostly 2 tables... not too shabby. The mid/high rollers at Party seem to be on tilt tonight, paying off like slot machines. And the really dangerous ones (there are some to be sure... Kayber is one, and there are many more) were notably absent.

Go figure. If I had half the luck I needed to win this in a holdem tournament.... I don't know why the guy offered to chop it heads up, but given I've played exactly 0 hands of HU O8 in my life I accepted pretty quickly.
Nice score. I've played a bit of O/8 in my time, but never heads up. I wouldn't know where to begin. First you have to figure out if he's going high or low, or both, and then figure out how strong his high hand or his low hand or his draw is... man, just chop it up lol.

I may actually try to play more of these...was nice to see my good hands hold up all the way through except for the very last hand where my ATs was beaten by the winner's K9o...he had the stack at that point though as he just demolished the 2nd place guy at that time. I did get all-in with AKs against 77 and turn a straight to go from 8th to 3rd but that was as close to sucking out as I got.
Yeah 4x a buy-in is nothing to write home about, but 36x ain't so bad! I'll have to win one of these 180 people SnG's before I post in this thread again...but i want that elusive bigger MTT...this year. At least my account FINALLY blew through the old high!
