We really don't know what to expect for numbers this year as we have competition this year during the same timeframe. EPT Dublin and WSOPC in Indiana are at the same time, I think Dublin will surprisingly affect us more than Indiana. EPT is sponsored by PokerStars and will probably attract some of the Europeans (and <21) that we had last year. We started our satellites four months early this year as opposed to two months early last year. Satellites have been well ahead of last years pace and I would expect to finish around 200-250 seats from internal satellites. The wildcard is the online sites, last year we had about 70 seats that were from online winners. We can't approach online sites to gauge interest in running satellites, it has to come strictly from players - for legal and regulatory reasons we can't get involved. From what I understand there are a few European sites running sats, and Full Tilt has us as one of the "WPT Choice" options, which is good, because Fallsview was an overwhelming choice for the sites that ran the choice option last year. We had 497 last year, Bellagio just had 535 while all of the pro's were in town, and we need a little over 300 for a first prize of one million dollars.
There's the information needed, I'll buy dinner for two to whomever is closest to the actual number of entrants. 13Cards is excluded.
Finally after two years of trying I got a seat last night.
Who would have thought getting a 5 twice on the river would be so beneficial.
Our $1200 satellite lasted about 4.5 hours.

Count me in for $500 or whatever...send me an email...
I'm considering playing the Fallsview satellites this weekend. Hopefully, some easier prey, anyone have any pointers? Never played one of their satellites, but I heard last year it was "easy".

Have any forum members won a seat yet?
Fallsview or 13cards, do you have any estimate as to the number of enties you expect this year?

TheBusDriver....
I personally believe we will have nearly 300 players from our satelites alone...not to mention online staellites and walk-ups.
