They were definetly transferrable last year. I know because after I won the $10,000 seat, I still had a $1200 seat voucher, which I sold to a guy who was about to buy in to the next SNG. I would imagine it would be the same this year. I know a guy that won 2 $10,000 seats and sold them both. Guess he didn't want to play in the big tourney.

Can you tell me which online sites will have satellites to the NAPC. I assume WPT Online will. I know Paradise had them last year but I don't know if they will this year.

Satellites will start Monday as planned and run for four months until the start of the WPT on October 26th. Satellites will run seven days a week, based on the previously posted schedule, registration will begin at Noon each day. For the 2006 event we entered 180 players to the Main Event from the satellite program in two months.
As for online, we can not endorse or promote (or actively approach) any other form of event that is not under our control. For obvious, and many other reasons I need to be careful how this question is approached and answered. All satellite and Main Event entry vouchers are transferable, and we really like people who buy "multiple" vouchers.
It would be great to see another PFC member make the final table this year.

The first $90 satellite just finished and it took 1:25, ending on level 8. The kid that won tripled up within the first few hands when his Aces held up against Kings and Queens, all pp.
Step 1 $90 satellites went great today. I believe we ran 7 or 8 total. Players all seemed very happy with the increase in starting chips (and therefore amount of play). Longest one ran for 1:30 and shortest was just 0:35!! Lots of interest/questions/phone calls from players planning to play.
Remember, Soren T. played only ONE $90 satellite, worked his way up and won over $1.3 Million. You could be next......

Played the 160 satellite today.. finished 3rd ... play is somewhat suspect after 30 minutes (2 blind changes) ... basically once it hits 100/200 its an allin fest. Not many hands of note.. with blinds at 50/100 and 1 limper I made it 350 to go with AA and someone pushed over top for 1200, I called my last 800 and doubled up against 66. Then missed a few flops then woke up with QQ in the small blind 3 handed and just called hoping to trap, the big blind (aggressive player) raised and I pushed allin, he called with A(h) 5(d) and flop came 5 6 7 all hearts, turn was a 5 and blank on the river and that was that.
A few notes for the Fallsview staff.
If you make an announcement before the tournament that when 2 players are ALLIN they must both expose their cards then explain it to your dealers, it didn't happen on 2 occassions.
Secondly, whoever the guy was that supervised the sit and go today needs to brush up on a few things, he basically told 2 players about 4 times during the sit and go that they would be penalized for showing cards AFTER the completion of a hand. Let me explain this simply. Player A raises in mid position ALLIN.. its folded around and player B (the big blind) thinks then mucks.. player A shows his cards to the table and player B after everyone has mucked... The hand is OVER.. why is the floor person warning player A that he will be assessed a penalty the next time he does that? The players is question are Niagara regulars and one of you two that post here can talk to them, Giovanni and Junior... They were both miffed and asked to speak to Jason who was not available...
Anyways other than that things seemed to run smoothly.

1. I understand that all of our procedures should be enforced accurately 100% of the time. However, as today was just the third day of the WPT satellites, some policies of tournament play are different than cash game play. Two big differences are that cards are dealt to the stacks rather than seated players and that cards must be tabled face up once the action is complete. As our room deals mostly cash games, our dealers are most used to completing the dealing of the board once an all in player has been called as quickly as possible (since we are not on TV and the games are time-sessions!). If the dealer did not do that today during your $160 satellite, I apoligize, but I can understand the reasoning behind the mistake. Be sure, the enforcement of procedures will be become more and more precise as the dealers become more comfortable; I would be more concerned if dealers were making errors that directly affected the outcome of a hand.
2. could you PM me the name of the supervisor so we can make sure to have this confirmed/rectified?
Thanks for the replay 13... The first response I expected and I can agree with because I assume being so early into the satellites this will happen at least a few more times given the usual process they go through in the cash games. It didn't bother me at all.. I think the bigger issue was the second one. Although I don't have his name I can describe him which should narrow it down as well as the time of the satellite. I will PM you.
Thanks for the update and feedback Voodoo! Sorry for the errors, we try to limit them as much as possible. I have sent out a communication that notes your two points. We are hoping to have most of our Supervisors become comfortable with running the satellites as it will make everyone stronger for the Main Event, hopefully the errors reduce in short time like 13Cards stated. Keep trying and good luck!

Didn't WPT online leave Canada?
Hi Fallsview. Is the start date of next Monday for the Satellites still good?
Thanks

Fixed Your Post
But that does not mean there will not be more or less in coming years.
Sorry if you felt teased.
I remember reading like 4-5 months back about the possibility of a 1K and 2K prelim event added. Darn.
By Oct it will be a $9500 event
