Good news is there's a lot of shorties and I only have to survive about 65 players to cash. 2 double ups would put me just above avg stack. Bad news is I'm one of the shorties.
Over 225 alternates were seated on day 1b, For a 1b field of 825. The anti scalping system worked very well and the new registration system was excellant. New felt on the tables and we'll run by the dealers and floor. Cell phones ok at nut not on table as long as you were not in the hand.
145 of us go On to day 2 to join 107 from day 1a.

Too late. Busted on 3rd hand of the day. Started in the bb (ugh!), then got A8 suited on the button. Cutoff min raises and I jam my 14k. Cutoff calls with 44. Board runs out AA547.
My buddy Andy just took a bad beat from Mike Leah in a 280k pot...... still has 200k but with the way Mike has run at Fallsview anyone would be nervous.
My pal Andy busted around 35th for just over $ 5400....... congrats kid.
ok.... time for bed . Will drop dog off in the morning then off to Fallsview for the 2500 & 5000 tourneys.

p.s. my buddy said Mike Leah was one of the nicest poker pros he has ever played with. Said he was a true gentleman.... so kudos to Mike for being a great ambassador for the game.
Hey guys. Don't have a computer here so sorry for not posting. Just borrowing a buddy's phone. I made day 3!!!!! There are 24 left and I'm pretty sure I'm in 24th. Lol. I'll have 5bbs tomorrow. Wish me luck I'll need it. If I bust next the cash will be $7600 though so I'm pretty pleased.

if you run good tmr low chipstack doesnt matter. a little rungood and 18k can become 108k.
