  • Just a limo? Pffft... I have my own corporate jet & helicopter.

It's actually great advertising for people to see a high roller supa-star like myself stepping out of their chopper with the Brantford Charity Casino logo all in gold letters on the side. Not to mention the significant BCC bling that I shamelessly tout while playing.

I'd highly recommend trying to move up the comp ladder as quick as you can. While everyone need to spend a few years "in the trenches" grinding out 38 cents per hour on their Winner Circle card at first, eventually my fully comped lifestyle can also be yours. (And Angel, you should look into the limo -> helo upgrade... Just drop the PokerForum.ca name with my homeys at BCC, and you're hooked up, yo.)

The one thing to keep in mind throughout the whole process is to not let all of it get to your head. It's all about class.

Peace out to all my BCC pimps from DJ ScottyZ, yo.

  • if you call ahead and the know your name they will even send a limo to pick you up at no cost . . .

You've prodded my thrifyness gene. I wanna hear some details..

Theres no way that they'll pick up people they comp at a cool 60cents a hour.
  • I think Casino Niagara will take you for free from toronto-casino niagara if you show your players card. Its only a 10 min walk from the other casino.

nothing I dont think unless you hop on a Greyhound yourself. Only thing I ever heard of is the casino carting old folks back and forth.

Very funny stuff Scotty. On the weekend, I wisely signed up for my PLAYERS ADVANTAGE CLUB card. Looking forward to the mad duckets.
  • hahaha. You guys are all nutz. About the only thing you'll get from Fallsview casino with your Players card is a coupon for $10 in chips and $5 off the buffet. I've been a players card holder there since Casino Niagara opened years ago. Unless of course you;re a platinum member then the rewards are a lot better. Of course to be a platinum member you need to contribute $100,000 in 6 months to get the card. Thats a lot of rake, and as of my last visit they were not accepting players cards in the poker room yet. Just remeber guys, what ever comps you get you probably paid 50 times its worth. They dont give anything away for free. Rumours have it Fallsview casino is not doing all that great and the OLGC has put pressure on them to increase their profits. I know tons of people who lost their job already due to the fact money isnt as great as everyone thought it would be.

THey pissed me off once and it rare I go there.
  • I heard wind of an upcoming poker event but noone here has any word on it.
I most often get info from you guys as to whats up but noone has mentioned it yet.
So maybe someone could find out for us if theres any truth to a tourney at Fallsview in the near future.
I heard there's an open event coming this April.
$1000 freezeout. Lemme know how true this is.
    Thanks
    Kevin
  • Yah the new casino honestly blows, just doesn't seem to have traffic. It may just be a factor of off season and that they now have three casinos in Niagara falls now, with the new one included.

I'll be honest the casinos in ontario don't really have poker down yet. they need more tables, and of that more need to be micro limit tables. they really need to give the really really casual player a shot at playing without waiting 3 hours. once they play a bit they'll be stuck at those tables, just as much as at the slots. I realize space is valuable at a casino, but to be honest to do it right involves .. well doing it right

Amazing.. You mean adding more slots with a 20% house edge will bleed the gamblers dry so much so they won't come back to lose again?

And have you ever noticed the sky is blue? Whazzup wit dat?

I just meant that the OLGC has no idea what the gamblers are looking for in a casino. They set the return rate of their slots to such a pathetically high house advantage 7%+ that they bleed all the gamblers of their money.. It's a good strategy...

EXCEPT that losers don't come back and play in the future. So they made a grab at grandma's cash, take it all, and then expect her to come back.. uhh why? The comps are horrid, service is non-existant and the games are tight..

Vegas learned a long time ago to pay off smaller jackpots to a wider crowd and the winners will come back and lose far more than they ever won..

Speaking of which, LETS GET FREE BOOZE IN ONTARIO CASINOS. I'm sick of driving to seneca so I can get my free drink on while I get my poker on..

    end rant.

I'm all for that except I dont really plan to give any of my money to Casino in Niagara falls anymore. I'll go to Seneca any day. Free booze and much better quality poker room than in Niagara Falls.
  • I played 10-20 last night. Got there around 7 - had to wait until 11 to get in a game. That is retahded, but I was completely on fire at the craps tables so I honestly didn't care. I saw a guy win over $8,000 playing hardway bets - he was plunking down $500 chips on 55 - just crazy shit - the table was going off like the 4th of July.

Personally, I think I am going to start the Craps boom - since the poker boom is sure to fizzle out eventually - with all the oversaturation and the waiting for 47 hours to get in a game. Celebrity Craps? Caribbean Craps? World Craps Tour? World Series of Craps? C'Mon! That's the shit right there...

By the time I sat down for some hold em, I was already up large - played for 3 hours, had a very nice session - I started out on a very tuff table, after losing 250 without even mixing it up, I asked for a table change. Switched with a guy on the next table over, and damn, it was such a soft game. Completely opposite of the game I just left. I took down 3 huge pots, where guys were capping the betting with shit like middle pair - unreal, but I am not complaining. There were two cute girls sitting beside me which is awesome - I love to play cards with the hunnies. We made fun of the scary guy at the other end of the table all night - he was on crystal meth or some kind of amphetamines, his eyes were bulging out of his skull, and the veins were popping out all over his forehead and neck. I almost had to dump hands against him because I thought there was a 50-50 chance that he was going to knife me out in the parking lot if I pushed him off some big pots. Not fun times.

And what the deal with the crappy 80's cover bands, blasting lover boy and cyndi lauper all night long? The music is waaaaay too loud in that poker room - totally distracting and almost enough to not make me want to go back, except that I won about $400 playing poker there so I'll probably go back.

But other then that - look for me on the Canadian Craps Tour very soon.

Dave Chappelle did a bit on the 'World Series of Dice'.. it was great..
  • No way dude - I gotta see that. I love Chapelle, man I'm missing out. It's from the Chapelle Show, right?

haha, thats funny. I was there Thursday night and the 80's musac was blasting then too. I had to wait 3 hours to get a seat and all I got was 4/8 and lost $120 to chasers. I cant wait till casino niagara open their room. Take some pressure off Fallsview. I swore I would never go back to fallsview but here I was again donating my money to them.
