Does pokermojo or anybody else have any new information on the WPT $2,500 Canadian Poker Open satellites and other preliminary events? Has anybody actually played a satellite yet at Niagara Fallsview Casino? A friend wants to buy a $640 seat ticket but claims that he cannot get any information from Fallsview.
the $2K Canadian Poker Open (or something like that) will have its own satellites running soon (date TBD). There are no confirmed pre-lim events as of yet, and no dates can be given at this point.

Satellites will start on Friday Aug. 4th at Fallsview. Casino Niagara will be holding satellites for the Canadian Poker Open while Falsview will host the satellites for the North American Poker Championship.

Fallsview – Main Event, Avalon Ballroom / Satellites, Poker Room
- Not too much of a surprise on this one. But, The ballroom only holds ~25 tables so it sounds like they're going to have to have multiple Day 1's.
Blind Structure
All Tournaments and Satellites will use the same blind structure; lengths of blind levels will vary.
- This implies that the Main Event will also be missing the 100-200 (no ante) level. Yuk. I've sent a few emails to their "poker room manager", but have gotten no response.
