The Keatsway Poker Series (KPS) is a series of 6 tournaments running Friday nights from January to April. Each tourney is an opportunity to earn KPS Points (top 3 scores count towards your total). KPS Points are earned in the following ways:
-Base points: 1 point for each position (40th=1pt, 39th=2pts... 1st=40pts)
-Collapse points: 1 point for surviving the first table collapse
2 more points for surviving the second table collapse
3 more points for surviving the third table collapse
4 more points for making the final table
-Money points: 1 point for each dollar of your payout divided by your buyin (incl. rebuy if applicable)
-Bounty points: 1 point for each bounty chip won
Bonus KPS Points can be earned in other Keatsway Poker Club (KPC) events, as well as donating to the Chips&Chairs fund. Donating to the C&C fund will get you preference on the list of players, and possibly earn bonus KPS Points at the end of the series (5, 3, and 2 points to the top 3 donors).
In April, the top 15 KPS Points leaders will be offered entry into the KPS Championship. The championship tournament will be identical to the KPS series events, except for:
- 16 of players instead of 40
- $30 buy-in/rebuy
- additional starting chips based on position on the leaderboard
- length of the blind levels will be doubled
Immediately following KPS VI, the points will be tabulated and a single table tournament consisting of the non-qualified points leaders and C&C leaders will be announced. The winner of this tournament will fill the 16th seat in the KPS Championship.

I am not sure that I will be able to play either Crazy Pineapple or Omaha due to general Friday night stuff. This sucks especially since right now I am #14 and doubt I will be able to stay there - I will update you letting you know - I may do what I did last Friday just show up and play for a few hours and see how many points I cant tally up before I go - I will let you know.
WOOOO!!!! (that's for you Mark)

After the going down, we can play some Omaha....
Yes, I am a sick sick person.

Prophet 22
LOL! Ahh...sweet, sickly man-flirting....
I'll need a quick tutorial friday night. I've never played Omaha, but I'm willing to learn. Maybe beginners luck will kick in! Reserve me a spot. Thanks. The 'Wine Man'
The structure is almost the same as Hold'em except:
1. You are dealt 4 cards
2. You MUST use 2 of your hole cards
3. And the maximum bet is the amount of $$ in the Pot. (For Pot Limit Omaha)
Did I miss something? If I did someone will correct me.
Johnnie
You can only raise the amount in the pot, after your call... so let's say
Preflop in a $1 game, there are 5 callers = pot is $5
flop comes down xyz...
Early player announces "Raise Pot" - Means he bets $5
Pot is now $10
You have a monster hand, so you want to re-raise him the pot, you announce "re-raise pot" (Shannon, I don't wanna hear anything about it actually being a "Bet" and "raise").
First, you can call his $5 (Pot $15), and your pot raise is $15, making the pot $30.
If he re-raises the pot, he calls the $15 (pot is $45), and can re-raise $45 more.
etc... etc..
Mark
thanks
The leaderboard is all screwed up, with the results column not being the sum of all events and people being out of order.
just, you know, fyi.
