I am an INTJ "Mastermind". Apparently I am grouped with roughly 1% of the population. "Mastermind" makes it sound all smart, but really, it just means that I'm anal as far as I can tell...
This part, however, rang frighteningly true, as well as many, many, many other parts, some of which are embarrassing and will remain unmentioned.
"Masterminds will adopt ideas only if they are useful, which is to say if they work efficiently toward accomplishing the Mastermind's well-defined goals. Natural leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command of projects or groups, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once in charge, however, Masterminds are the supreme pragmatists, seeing reality as a crucible for refining their strategies for goal-directed action. In a sense, Masterminds approach reality as they would a giant chess board, always seeking strategies that have a high payoff, and always devising contingency plans in case of error or adversity."
I think that if 1% of the population (apparently) is categorized this way, much of that 1% is comprised of poker players.
I've taken this and other similiar tests (Myers-Briggs, etc.), and I'm (very strongly) INTJ as well. Introverted, judgemental and anal - life of the party. The funny part is my wife took these tests as well, and is a perfect opposite. Great for balance AND conflict
I have taken tests like this before, and have always been an ENTJ. Surprise, surprise...this one said the same thing.
I guess it will come as a shock to all that I am highly extroverted. As far as being heartless and judgemental...anyone who knows me knows I'm the sweetest most selfless girl in the world. Haha.
I like being a Fieldmarshal tho, it gives me a perfectly valid excuse to boss everyone around and turn them into my slaves.
The Idealists called Teachers are abstract in their thought and speech, cooperative in their style of achieving goals, and directive and extraverted in their interpersonal relations.
The Teachers are found in no more than 2 or 3 percent of the population.
Thank heavens the ENTJ's have arrived.
Was seriously wondering if I was the only one.
See you all at the next meeting: so we can talk about those (you know) INTJ's
INTP but I'm sure I was INTJ when I tried this in university. I guess I just care too much now.
Too funny:
Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.
I've always considered myself to be a cunning linguist!
And
Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system. INTPs thrive on systems. Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay. Accomplishing a task or goal with this knowledge is secondary
Einstein, Socrates, Descartes and Newton and me: all INTPs. Nice group... Oh, Bob Newhart and Rick Moranis, too.

IMO, no poker player could possibly answer "Yes" to question 5.

Cool. I am a field marshall. Apparently I am the guy who makes plans for something and then goes off to make more plans. This is eerily accurate
