Well, after a trial run, I have to say I didn't enjoy the new blind structure. I felt the game was very draggy for the first half, and the blinds were either too small or started too late to have any impact.
I'd suggest removing the 40-80 level and starting the antes earlier. Maybe like this:

What if the antes started at 100/200 and were like this:
9. 100-200 (25)
10. 150-300 (25)
11. 200-400 (50)
12. 300-600 (50)
13. 500-1000 (100)

Them seem good. The game was long last night and we will need to tweak the blinds and antes to fix it up.
Oh I get it, since the bus won, something had to be wrong with the game.
Seriously though, I agree, the first half could be sped up, and the antes more aggressive.
As far as either going weekly or every 2 weeks, it's a dead tie!!!
