Hee hee... I need a reason to gloat a litlle. I took a beating on Saturday in the "real" world. Met a guy named Tony that had 50% of Al Crux from the WSOP. Not comforting to hear during a no-limit game. He had some sweet moves himself and I was on the receiving end of one.
Your table was a chatter box alright... we were a morgue compared to that. I had your table open but gave up trying to follow all the dialog.
Definately a friendly atmosphere and that's what counts. Wait 'til I win the next one... there'll be "no-limit" to my boasting!! 8)
IIRC, SirBry mentioned possibly changing *all* the tournaments to limit holdem because it's his favorite format. Oh yeah, IIRC, Niagara is getting a poker room too.
The reason I changed my city name to Earth is I got tired of talking about Saskatoon to Americans. lol They also don't know I'm Canadian now unless I say so. lol Good to have more weapons at the ready. Keep them guessing I say.
BTW, These 2 forum tourneys I've now been in, were by far the most fun I've had playing cards online. It's kinda like a virtual home game since the people have prior history. Damn good idea. Hats off to Bry and others for MaGyvering it all together.
Can't remember what thread it was in now, but someone asked me why I don't enter early, and unregister if work interferes that day. It's because I can't get home to unregister, if I can't make it. My work is very volatile (no pun) and I don't know from day to day what might happen. We look after underground gas leak detection, line locating for customers, and all aspects of the system maintenance in our department. Including odorization of the gas, and cathodic protection on the piping system, we also look after the 22 small stations, and the 3 large ones that feed our city it's natural gas. There are only 6 people in my department. We busy. lol
I am with all_aces on this one. I had a blast and just wished I would of made a better showing. I guess there's always next time. The conversations and people were great. here's looking to a better finish on the 26th..
