  • He was gone by the time I left. I don't think that parking lot was owned/run by the docks. If it were I'd think the dude woulda been there early. By the time he got there it was almost full. Of course the blinds were aggressive, given that they were planning to run it for one day. It's called adjust your play. I was a complete maniac which is why I think I did so well. Patience wasn't going to pay off. I took the word CALL out of my vocabulary. I folded, raised or moved all in. I'm sure at every table I said the words all in more than everyone else at the table combined.

Still where else can you get the experience of playing with cameras running, giving interviews etc for free. It all worked out well for me but even my g/f who busted out in the first round said it was a great learning experience for her to play in something like that and what she learned from watching the other tables when she busted out.

LOL Deadmoney. I"m sure the dude appreciated your nice hello as you drove by..... :D
  • Yes I know how to adjust my game...I played pretty well. I would have like to start out a little more relaxed and then hve the tournament get more aggressive.....it was too early in the morning :)

    Congratulations on the win.

As of the time of the tournament, they had no buyers yet.
  • They should at least post the pictures on the website.

  • Was there really 100k in prizes too? What else did you win besides the money?

I was gonna go... but I live an hour away and it didn't seem worth it to me with a %40 chance of getting selected to play... wish I'd gone now tho!!!!
  • It was 10K, all cash. I live more than an hour from the docks and it was well worth it.
