Iam, going to be hosting a heads up championship, sometime in, june or july i would , like 32 players , the best players , to play for the championship to see whos the best, this turnament will be held at the elora legion , the buy in will be 100+ 10 the pot will be a wamping 3200$ the day , of the turnament all the players will walk up and choose, a card, that will, determine , your turnament seed , there will be 32 cards in the jar, each player will pick, the turnament will ether be set up double knock out, or single knock out style , each player will start with 1000 in chips blinds increase every 10 mins. it will take 5 win to win it all , can you beat 5 people that is the question .     i have also talked to brent wilson , one of the best turnament runners that i know of , and he just confirmed to me that, he will help run this turnament to make it run smooth

    I would be interested in this of course. If I could I would like to add some input as to what would make this event more attractive to me...(just me though :) Double elimination would be great, for $100 you're gonna want as much play as possbile. Taking into consideration that this is heads up, you're typically not going to hours of play out of it.
    Question: How are you going to re-draw in the second round? Does each player move on with their chips or do they start round 2,3,4 with the original chip stack?
    Example: We start with 1000 chips. I eliminate 3 players in the time that John A. eliminates 1, would he then play vs. me (and my 4000 chips) when he only has 2000 chips?

    no u would re start your chip acount back to 1000 each round and if i did double elimantion they would still have 1000 but it would be alot harder for them to win the 1st because they would have to take a longer toute back to the final.

    Hey Cole, I will be announcing the list of Events for the Guelph Mini Series of Poker GMSOP over the weekend. It will include 1 if not 2 headsup tourneys 32 players in it. Double elimination with a wrap around tournament seating. I have the house just need the players.

    hey iam not , saying iam better then you iam guesisng your a very good poker player , but anybuddy could say that it doesent take much to get lucky and become good and learn the basics of holdem . we all know good players can play awsome on days when there getting good cards , but my question to you is are you a great player can you play great when your getting the cold cards seven duce seven duce non stop all day i guess we will see at the kwsop . where are you from, hope to see you at the final table at the kwsop buddy good luck.

    ATTENTION COLE WOODS!!!! I was honestly kidding for everything I said. I wanted to see if I could get under your skin and I guess I took it a little overboard and I apologize for that.. As for riding out cold cards I have a simple solution for that..... Daniel Negraneau put it best cards come in waves good and bad when the cards are cold you want ride it out and capitolize on when the good waves come but thats not exactly how he put it.. If cold cards come I will try and steal a couple pots to keep my head above water until the good wave comes.. If I sense weakness from an opponent like they have high pair with a low kicker I will put pressure on them and hope for them to buckle... As for KWSOP I dont know anything about it and I doubt it that I will be there my eyes are concentrated on

    This event is really shapeing up ot be a very intresting event, now i would like to ask the public a question what month would this be the best time to host the heads up championship in Elora in
    June, July or august i was thinking july because you have the kwsop in june , and the boat cruise in august , in july it could be the heads up championship.
