The tournament will last approximately 6 hours. Seating is limited to 32 players with alternates. (8 max tables) Please reserve your seat in advance!! The final table will form with 9 players left.
Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted at my place, or you may msg me for specifics.
As always, tournaments at The Compound are rake-free!!
Event #5 was our first Deepstack of the year, and was attended by a great mix of 30 new and old players. Some people, not seen since the early days of Bristol, mixed with dedicated regulars as well as almost a full table of completely new players!
After 7 hours the tournament reached heads-up between DataMn and labeach2002. Though DataMn held the chip lead, fatigue ruled the evening, so the players reached a chop agreement and they flip-a-ment'd for the title.
In 5 or so hands, the lead went back and forth and when the dust cleared, labeach2002 was our Champion!
With his 1st place finish, our 2017 Player of the Year labeach2002, takes over a commanding lead in this year's race! DataMn makes a move from 11th to 3rd (tied with Origami), while King Mob and DrTyore appear for the first time in the Top 10.
