Leaving this evening after work and making the 7 hour trip to check into our 1* hotel!
Already qualified for day 2 via an online flight but for only 28 bb's starting on day 2. Still have 2x day 1 tickets so will take a couple more shots at a bigger stack on Saturday. GLGL all forumers.
46 players left. 3341 runners or thereabouts 1.45 million chips in hand. Think I sit in 28th position going into Day 3. 1pm start today. 80k up top plus the golden Buddha chip worth extra 50k from Party. This Playground place knows how to serve up poker...

Keep up the good work. Lets see ya make the final table and maybe win the golden Buddha......
WOW..... It is meant to be....... cash in that GOLDEN thingy......... DO IT !!!!!!!
Paul Mohorea opened to 1,250,000 on the button and Neil Macleod defended from the big blind. The flop came and both players checked.
The turn was the and Macleod checked. Mohorea bet 1,250,000 and Macleod called. The river was the and Macleod checked again. Mohorea bet 2,500,000 and Macleod took about 40 seconds before calling and showing king high. Mohorea mucked his hand and Macleod pulled slightly ahead of the former chip leader. Macleod is one of the remaining players with a golden chip, which means if he wins the tournament he gets an additional $50,000 on top of the first place prize.
Neil MacLeod opened from the cutoff to 1.8M and Richard Moreau called on the button. The flop came {3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and MacLeod fired out a bet of 2.2M. Moreau called and the {k-Diamonds} fell on the turn.
MacLeod moved all-in and after getting a count, Moreau tossed his cards into the mucked.
Richard Moreau 26,000,000 -4,000,000
Neil MacLeod 21,500,000 5,700,000
talking deal now 6 handed....... I would be good with everyone locking up 30,000 and play for the rest . plus if our boy wins he gets an extra 50k from partypoker.....
my fingers are crossed for you .... hope you can pull it out.
CONGRATS...... glad to see a good guy get some dollars !!
The players have chopped up the prize pool based on ICM numbers. They will play on for $10,000 and a trophy to the eventual champ. For Neil MacLeod and Karla Leduc however, this means their Golden Chip is now out of play and the $50,000 they could have won for capturing the title is gone.
