If you can't make it to Bill's freeroll on Friday night, another option is the excellent $150+$10 Deep Stack at Mohawk, where members have cashed regularly, including PocketTwos, DrTyore and BigBOB. Good luck.

In my case, I may be stuck at home playing the $500,000 Gtd online on Sunday.

didn't even consider mohawk. that's definitely a possibility.
  • I wouldn't - it's rigged!

    :D

can't register by phone!? wtf? do these normally fill up fast? 30 cap i believe.

EDIT: does woodbine only spread limit?
  • Your best bet is to buy your entry early at Mohawk. The fee is only 6% so it's very profitable and NOT rigged as PocketTwos knows.
Woodbine spreads up to 11 NO-limit tables (& PLO), but its poker-challenged management is scared of no-brainer MTTs.
  • Anyone in next Sunday's $550? I'm looking to get a seat. Will there still be some available Monday?

thanks Card Dead. i'll consider it. i'm reluctant to have to cross the border to play and i've never been to seneca before either. i'm assuming that crossing the border would also pretty much double my travel time as well. however, i'm assuming that seneca would most likely have omaha spread so that's a draw for me.

I was there on Friday the 19th and the PLO is worth the trip. This is what I played. It was a 1/3 which ended up playing 1/3/6 with straddle. Bi was 200-500. I got up to 1k and I was the 3rd smallest stack. It played deep as there were a lot of limping and all calling the raise behind them. Worth the trip if you want to take a shot. Wait time to cross was 15 min max.

They rarely have Omaha on the weekend. They spread a regular game on Thursdays during the day, and it sometimes runs on holiday weekends, but other than that, it's only 1-2 and 2-5 NLHE, with one table of 2-4 LHE early in the day.

I was told the PLO has been running a lot lately. With the Seneca poker starting nov 1st I am sure it will remain steady. In addition one thing I liked was the amount of different games they spread. Besides the nl and limit u mentioned there was O8 5/10 with a kill and 7 card stud running. I wish we had more options like this in our casinos.
  • Except for Bill, most players will procrastinate buying an entry until next weekend. If I don't win in Friday night's freeroll, I will probably buy an entry.

Good to know. Hope you crushed it.

Last time I saw a big PLO game there was last Christmas when they ran a 2-5 and it was waaaaaaaay deep. Several 10k stacks on the table.

You can always buy the one I win Friday night . . . I'll give you the standard Forum rate. :D

I cashed out at $1100. I was as high as $1400 and as low as $400. I need to go there more often.
